hmm to clear it ALL up for Vergil and Dante fans before we tear each other apart it goes like this.  

First battle Vergil is stronger then Dante.  

Second battle Vergil and Dante are equall.  

Third battle Dante is stronger and you can tell this because Vergil has there fathers sword and still loses so thats that.  

And just for the record i played Vergil on DMC 3...liked Dante better.

i would say in the 3rd battle,Vergil lost because he is not as skilled in he sparda as he is with the yamato

acctually he lost cos the plot said "and now dante kicks vergils @$$," sparda is still my favourite character, i only like vergil cos yamato is the coolest sword EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

o btw dantes not immature hes a kid cos in this game hes only a teen and dmc3 was intended for a younger audience cos young people like to see immature people and it depends which dante dmc1 is normal but you would be pretty screwed up if you thought that dmc2 dante was immature
