Oh thank you! haha, at least I'm not the only one that's dying to have Vergil still in there.  I just can't get my fix of him.  Such an interesting character, I almost feel as if DMC4 would be somewhat incomplete without him.

All the games od Devil may cry are awesome!!, but the only thing I don't like is the change of the face of dante in the DMC3 and DMC4 I don't like the face of dante has in this games, i think the best face of dante is in DMC2.

DMC4, if I remember correctly, takes place AFTER DMC1 (so the timeline so far is 3,1,4,2). For those hoping to see Virgil in the game, I have some hopeful news:

It has been officially confirmed(quite a while ago...) that Virgil will play some sort of role in DMC4, but that role hasn't been disclosed. For all we know, he could really be in the game, or one of his previous actions in the past may be linked to an important part of the plot. I dunno.

And those who said that you won't be playing as Dante in the game are WRONG. Dante WILL be playable, but since Nero is the main character, Dante's actions and moves will be limited the the ones from DMC3, complete with the "Style Function" (GunSlinger, Trickster, ect).

While Kobayashi-san has stated that Dante will be a playable character in Devil May Cry 4, Dante won’t be just an unlockable character after beating the game. “As the story unfolds, Dante will also be made available to play. He is not an unlockable bonus character, but is playable as part of the game’s storyline.”
