The former vampire remained silent, glancing between the flames, Francis, and Livia. -Yes, it would be better...- Suddenly, a wide grin crossed Louis's face, looking at the Frenchman with eyes concealed beneath the rim of his top hat. -...if all of you died first.- Reaching into his coat, Louis drew a metallic object; the holy silver stake which he had kept after the incident with Dracula.
-Here; now that you're with the demons, I think you deserve this more than I do!- With that, Louis tossed the stake at Francis with deadly accuracy, aiming at his eye.
Francias was only given a brief moment to set on a surprised face, and a gasp. His own scream would be drowned out by the howl that came from Livia. The Stake sank deep in to his head, and he immediately collapsed, only able to stammer around as the blood was forced from his eye, having no other exit.
Wings sprouted from Livia, as she leapt out of the building, and soared down to Francias, her inhuman speed allowed her to catch him before he struck the ground. "No no no no no" The Demon said over and over as she delicately moved the Frenchman’s sticky blood soaked hair out of the way of his face. "I'm sorry darling... at least our souls will be together forever..." With these final words, she set her hand under his chest, fingernails cutting threw leather and skin and bone, before pulling his heart out. The next moment, she displayed her true nature, as she began to devour the Frenchman’s heart, then and there, right in front of Louis and Deadra, as if they were not even there. But she finished up rather quickly, licking the blood from her fingers before wiping the gore from her lips.
Dedra wasn't about to wait for the demon to finish her feast. Her body glowed brilliantly like a celestrial as a great gale washed over everyone. The gust of wind soon turned into a constant jet of flame as Livia's minions were burnt to a crisp. Their charred bodies fell to the floor as Dedra started to collapse out of exhaustion.
"GRAGH!" Audacity placed his bony fingers in front of the raging flames before they incinerated his soft-core tissue. "Wait, that's them! My jewels!" Dedra leaned on Louis's shoulder for support as she struggled to stand up. "These won't help me anymore, however..." Dedra slipped both necklaces over Louis's head. "...You might find some use for them."
Placing her arm over his shoulders, Louis limped with Dedra towards a narrow alley in an attempt to shake off the voluminous dragon.
Livia cracked her eyes open after the glorious display of power Deadra had displayed, dusting the charred remains of her sisters from her self. "Oh, don’t tell me you only have the stamina for one round sweet heart" her fingers wrapped around her whip, which was tightly wound in her hand now. "I guess you can just watch your friend and I play for a while".
"I-I'll recover quickly Louis. Don’t be reckless." Dedra grunted as she was escorted away.
Approaching the wall of a wrecked building, Louis gently placed Dedra against the stone surface and into a sitting position. -I guess it would've been better if I had stayed a vampire, huh?- he said, glancing briefly in Livia's direction.
"Human or vampire, you'll always be my knight Louis." Dedra embraced Louis and placed a kiss on his lips. As she did so, her armor shifted from herself to the former vampire, covering him from head to toe in her black steel. As their lips parted, the helmet covered his face. "The metal you adorn bends to your will. just think it and it will obey." Dedra crept further into the side street as audacity pointed and yelled.
"Hey, HEY! I'm still coming after you once I'm done with your new boyfriend!"
Turning around, Louis gazed at Livia through the visor of his newly acquired armor. -So, mon cher, what is it that you expect to accomplish by killing me?-
" What am I going to gain from killing you?, what are you going to gain from killing me?" she almost giggled. "Well, you in particular now because you killed my soon to be husband..."
Her seductive smile crept along her face, as she began to advance on Louis, swaying her hips in that sexy fashion.
"I am a collector of souls, and pure hearts, I simply set myself on the top of the food chain... Surly you must know what that’s like, don’t you?" she gave a wink to Louis, as she now began to Circle him.
Just then, the armor's helmet retracted to reveal Louis's head. An unworried smile crept through his face.
-I murdered countless innocents, yes, and I did it out of my own will. I know what it is like to be a monster, to be "on top of the food chain". I lost many loved ones because of my actions, people I cared about and will never come back. I'm sure that even you have done and felt the same.-
Louis glanced briefly at Francis's corpse.
-That's why I'm telling you; you cannot expect to take lives without giving some in return. If you choose to continue this madness, more and more lives will be lost, and in the end, you will accomplish nothing.-
Suddenly, the armor around Louis's torso retracted as well.
-I killed the one you claim to have loved, even though he tried to show me mercy, because he too betrayed the ones who trusted him; sacrificed them because he was devoted to you. I don't fight for the church, nor do I fight to rid the world from evil. I fight because I've finally found a reason to live, and that reason was almost taken away from me today. I too am devoted, just like he was, but that doesn't excuse me for what I've done. For that, I'll gladly give you my soul in exchange of his life, but you must also spare the one I'm trying to save.-
Livia just smirked more "I love a sentimental man..." she paused now however, and coiled her whip back up, and set it on her hips, the claws which clung to her breasts moved slightly, re adjusting there hold as she began to move towards Louis again.
"What was I thinking?, I just cant let such a man like yourself go to waste..."
But just as she approached, something unexpected caught Livia's attention; Louis was no longer smiling, but grinning.
-That's too bad, because I CAN let a demon like you go to waste.-
Taking advantage of her lowered guard and proximity, the armor quickly enveloped Louis again as he lunged himself forward at the succubus with a devastating fire spell ready at hand, which he then unleashed upon her with almost all the energy he had left. Soon afterwards, he knelt down exhausted, the usage of magic having taken a rather heavy toll on him.
A vicious crack , and the fireball exploded, Livia having to draw her whip out, the fire spell managed to sing her, but the burns were Minor.
Continuing forwards, her fingers traveled delicately under Louis's chin, tipping his head up so she could look him in the eyes.
"You are so full of resolve, tell me... is that what makes you human?". any determination to kill him seemed to have vanished.
Giggling nervously, Louis shrugged as small beads of sweat rolled down his forehead under his helmet.
-I wouldn't know; maybe if you let me buy you a drink we could discuss it!-
*Thud*
The earth shook as Audacity hauled his half necrotic body over to Livia's side.
"Are we going to kill him or what?"
"No" she smirked and ran her thumb along Louis's cheek. "I have something planned for him".
Her tone was lustful, as she leaned in closer to Louis, stealing a kiss off of him before letting his head drop, after her fingers had slipped away from his chin.
"Let the other one go to for now... when I'm finished with Louis, you'll be able to do whatever you like, can you be patient for me Audy?".
Setting her hands behind her back, she stared up at Audacity cutely.
Audacity just groaned and raised his head. he didn't make any other movements.
Making a squeal, she rushed over and latched on to his leg, embracing it as she lifted one leg up. "OOooooo your so kind , maybe I'll give you your jewel back!....later..."
