I like the brute force of the rebellion, but I also love the stylish maneuvers that Vergil pulls off with the Yamato. The Red queen didn't strike my interest at all, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Rebellion is my favorite cause it's sexy lol.

Yamato hands down! Red queen blows,Rebellion is okay,but Yamato is the best. all u have 2 do is unsheath the thing and u can slice and dice sum1 4rm 100ft away

yamato is freakin awesome, the ability to block bullets coupled with the ability to beat your opponent senseless with it from afar

you can't really use block bullets in the game or at least I have not figured  out how

Remmember, it aint the sword, its the style =p

Vergil's Style of Combat works well with his blade, Dante could probly block bullets with that massive sword (rebelion) if he wanted to. issue is, its way to freaken heavy to whip around like the Yamato.

But, if you object to this, you can always cut bullets in half with Rebelion and send them in either direction of you, like Dante did as a counter attack to Vergils counter attack =p!.

as far as looks go, I cant decide between the Sleek Yamoto or the Gothic Rebelion >__>;...

if were goin with the looks. id take Rebellion. i like the lil skull thing at the handle of it. Power wise,Yamato still rules.

I'll say Rebellion, for both looks AND power.

Simply cause the Yamato isn't the only sword that could open the Hell Gates. I'm sure the Rebellion could do it too.

Besides, the Yamato would be EASIER to use, that's why it looks more powerful. It'd take a serious amount of strength to swing the Rebellionb around, while the Yamato is sleek and skinny.

good point kayle both swords are powerful in there own way

Well you guys need to remember both swords are devil arms and posses demonic power. I like the Yamato not only because of its looks but also its ability to transform into a huge broadsword when Virgil goes devil trigger (only spec. edition DMC3 with Dark Night Virgil costume)

i undersand why there's no fans of the Red Queen;It aint a great sword. I can't decide! Yamato is very powerful in some ways but weak in others, ditto rebellion. But if, in real life I had to pick, I'd have pick..............................................Yamato. Probably cause I'd probably be too weak to hold Rebellion! Hey... In a way... Is Dante stronger than his big brother??? Maybe Vergil had a sword like Dante's ONCE, but chucked it for something lighter and more mobile, and thats were Yamato came in handy.

I agree with Vergil although in the DMC universe Virgil did learn to unlock his demonic potential first giving him a slight edge over Dante.
