ok, based on 9 reviews, it has recieved 94/100. it has also been nintendo powers game of the year and has recieved the EGM Gold Award. it is also the only game that features the Chris Houlihan room, a secret room that repays you whenever there is a glitch in the game by 25 rupees and you don't have to reset the console as when you walk out, you will leave link's house in the light world. it also has some of the most interesting aspects which were used a motifs from then on such as; the zoras, the master sword, Most of the music, the swarm of cuckoos that kills you when you abuse one too much, it was also the first multi level dungeon zelda. these dungeons looked much more complex with the overhead view than any of the other zeldas. it was also the first with the concept of the dark world, which was more twisted in a link to the past than any of the other ones. (it actually explains that people take the form of their inner selves as well as shows that you are as vulnerable as anything else by turning you into a pink bunny. it was even more interesting to see the rocks in the light world turn into skulls. travel between worlds was much easier because you didn't need a set location, but rather the mirror. over all, i think it just featured the post-apocaliptic dark world much better than anything that came back to it because the enemies were better thought out over all.
