Im just wondering bcause i got DMC4 a couple days ago and im trying to figure out if Nero and Sparda are related in any way?? Can anyone help me out?

They never tell you or how nero got the arm but i read somewhere that when vergil became nelo angelo he was a full demon  so what happen to his human side? well i guess it was reborn into a human that was nero and when dante killed nelo angelo the demon tried to go back to its human side to recreate vergil but all the demon got put into neros right arm so he kinda like gained the blood from having vergil in him i guess but he isnt a half breed hes like an 1/8 breed or something or maybe not even that

alright well there are several clues in the game that....imply that nero is related to dante and sparda

one example is when the savior guy says to nero that he "inherited" the power of sparda. ah yes as in hereditary

another is when dante lets nero keep yamato, when he said " i need to keep it in the family"

MY opinion is that the Devil Spirit of Vergil has possessed Nero's arm. Because it glows blue at all times, the markings on Nero's arm are the same Vergil's Devil Form, Nero's had that voice in his head goin' "power, give me more power". Vergil's power hungry.

 The Yamato blade reforges itself after the first battle with Agnus and flies towards Nero's Devil Arm, which is his right arm. Vergil's right handed. And the DT you get with Nero has the same, albeit revamped, DT as Vergil did.

how do u know that? we might discover later that Sparda had a brother,that had a son, that had a son, that had a son,that had a son,that had a son...(continues to eterntity)...that had a son,that had a son named Nero.so Nero is somehow related to Sparda.

Or maybe "his holiness" was not talking to Nero but to Vergil's soul inside Nero.Maybe.

Let's think about that one for a second, shall we?

#1) There ain't any evidence of a Sparda Family Tree past Sparda himself, Eva, Dante and Vergil.

#2) Nero can't be related to Sparda, simply cause the storyline wouldn't work.

#3) I've said this before, but there are several things that point toward Vergil's Devil Form takin' possession of Nero's arm.

        -: The markin's on the Devil Bringer are the same as Vergil has on his Devil Form.

       -: The Devil Bringer glows blue, as Vergil's Devil Form does.

      -: Nero's had a voice sayin' "power, give me more power" ever since he's gotten the Devil Arm.

         -: Nero's Devil Trigger has an underlyin' voice/growl, which sounds like Vergil's Devil Form.

         -: The Yamato Blade reforged itself in Nero's presence after he kicked Agnus' ass.

         -: The Yamato Blade also flew towards Nero's Devil Bringer, which is his right arm. Vergil is RIGHT HANDED.

#4) Although Dante has said he needs to keep Yamato "in the family", he also lets Nero keep it cause he thinks Nero's capable of havin' it to himself.
