i am a big batman fan and i wondered if Arkham is named after the terrifying asylum in batman.

DMC does have a lot of comic references (the red coat and duel guns like in the alucard series)  but I don't think so, It's not close enough I think your making this connection because your a bat man fan.

 

I made a topic about the many MANY references that DMC and MGS shared, but it got little attention.

 

someone else saw a connection in star wars and this.

 

it's just natural to see things link up if you like them enough.
