this strategy has button configuration for PS2
the strategy i would suggest is to use the trickster
*always choose trickster to fight vergil*
but u must level it up to level 3.
equip rebellion and beowulf gauntlets.
human vergil:
1)as soon as the mission begins hit him with a stinger using the
rebellion*always attack from a far distance and fast moves.rebellion
stinger is the best*.
he would block and will hit u.but dont panic ,hit r1+direction of
vergil(forward,backward or whichever direction he is)+circle or jus hit
circle and get away from him.then u attack with the stinger
(rebellion).
most probably his first attack would be helm breaker.then u hit ur helm breaker.
then change weapons to beowulf gauntlets and hit triangle repeatedly.
he would recieve 8 blows.dont hit the 9th blow ,he will block.
2)the other attack will be he would start leavin bubbles off his sword
run till he lets out 4 bubbles.as soon as he leaves 5th bubble hit him
with the stinger(rebellion).then equip beowulf gauntlets and hit the 8
blows.(there would be 8 hits if u hit triangle 8 times repeatedly
without any pause).
demon virgil:
3)then he would transform into a demon(probably at any point in the mission)
attack him with stinger when he finishes his attack or combo and get
away by pressing circle*always stay away from him when he is in devil
trigger*
one attack would be that he would slash sword twice ,disappear and
appear over the top of ur head ,hit helm breaker and then the stinger
of his own.
for this,the dodge would be as follows,
run till he slashes sword twice,then hit circle(to avoid helm
breaker),then hit r1+back+circle(to avoid stinger).then get away from
him.
*all these moves have to be timed perfectly.*
super demon virgil:(he will say "u r going down",i like him when he says that)
4)then there is a super demon form in which he would hit continuous helm breakers.
for this the dodge would be to jus run around constantly.
he would hit 3 sequences of helm breakers.after this he would stand
still for a few seconds .get close to him and hit him with the beowulf
gauntlets.
after this,he would leave a lot of bubbles from the sword.jus make sure
that u dont get surrounded by them and jus keep running around.
again he would stand still for a few seconds .hit him with the beowulf gauntlets.
sometimes he will be defeated after this move.
sometimes he wont.
if he does not then he would super demon transfrom again.
now he would hit both moves number 3 and 4(the 3 sequence of helm breakers).
dodge accordingly and u will defeat him this time around.
if not ,now that u know how to dodge his attackes ,dodge accordingly.
note:to level up trickster,
play the missions in easy mode u will be able to level them up in no time.
