The word Practical and One Man plays both roles go together like cream cakes and super strong ropes holding up highly explsive machine.

I dont agree with Danny Boyle cos i loath the guy but this Darren Amostky might be ok.(i havent figured out quoting yet)
Most DMC fans would say Dante and Vergil are two very diferent people.They wouldnt want it turned into some gimmicky one man plays two thing.The One that was mentioned earlier is a wicked film but it has flaws.One being it has a slight gimmickyness to it.
And the point about casting two similer men is that they would play two very diferent characters and it would be better.
Not the cost of all the pointless cgi or anything else.My point is some people get all excited about the cgi and effects and some very weird geeks go all out to make films and tv that push cgi levels and they are not even making the film or tv for the entertainment value.Beowulf clearly wasnt made to tell a story but indulge some sad pathetic wish to show off and try out some fancy and pointless cgi.
If you watch a fantasy film from the 80s the stunts are mostly real and the actors do most of the work.And you dont care about the ropiness of some of the effects cos the story is prominant.In other words you dont analise the sfx but watch the film as a film for its entertainment value.
Thats what we want from the DMC film/s. Something that is true to the games/anime/manga and draws you in and holds your attention for its entire span.
Not some geek going ooh look, that isnt two men playing Dante and Vergil but one man. Yeah , they really pushed the envolope with that.Arnt the texture effects great, dosnt the cgi applied to his face make him look like Dante/ Vergil.Ooh, you can barely tell he is fighting a stuntman with his face blanked out.
We want a film that is fun and as brilliant as the rest of the DMC stuff.
The flinch in your eyes calls your bluff
Feel free to die when you've had enough
Useless cause is breaking your back
Your life will end when you attack.
