Cobalt:You're right Gizem, it's been too long. I'm glad you helped get this thread active again

. And it's a good poem, I get most of what you were saying. I dont know what you meant by "do you know what I'm building in here" though. You said this poem was inspired by various songs, which ones?
Hahaa yep ^ ^ though no one replies besides you lol. Oh, "Do you know what I'm builing in here?" represents the revolution inside, I mean building something inside that is different than I had, kinda referring to personality you know..One ounce of sarcasism..A barrel of egoism..No more "emo"ism.. like being the person I want to be....ummm, "waking the monster" inside..damn, maybe I should change the title to that XD
Oh I get it now. Well in that case it's even better than I thought before. Now I see better how it all meshes and comes together. Great job!
Premonition
Some people think a
premonition is just an old
superstition.
When it starts, not all sights are pleasant.
Filled with
anticipation,
its hard to see the horrible parts
and be filled with
satisfaction.
This morning started out like
most.
Began my usual breakfast of slightly burnt
toast.
Went to the subway to take
the train to
work.
When I noticed an unusual
person with a strange
smirk.
He passed by me as I was getting on my
train.
He seemed mostly simple and
plain.
Brown hair, light brown eyes and a long
overcoat. But he had a large crescent scar on his
throat.
As he
passed,
our shoulders bumped, and a vision.
I saw, though it didnt
last.
The vision of a bomb on a train
then an enormous
blast.
And I saw the man
laughing,
dear Lord what is this man
crafting?
My mouth got dry, the man walked on.
He had already disappeared in the
crowd.
People around me talkin
aloud,
train horns are blaring behind me so
loud.
I must stop him I though to myself.
He came from this one,
he must have planted it already on this
train.
If I dont find this bomb,
I feel I will be to
blame.
And this whole train will be
aflame.
I looked under the
seat.
Even behind people's
feet.
Faster and faster my heart begins to
beat.
I looked
everywhere,
I couldnt find the damn thing
anywhere.
Through the window I looked for his
face.
It felt like I was in a life or death
race.
And I didn't see him
anyplace.
The train doors closed and started to pull
away.
I look out the window and saw that man
walk out of the other train's
doorway.
He looked me square in the eyes,
smirked and continued on his
way.
Then it hit me like a
brick.
And suddenly I felt so
sick.
That was the train,
that place where he just
came.
I had the wrong
train...
