The wyverns were fed by their riders and everyone went to the DMC HQ to get some rest. As they nearly reached the building, everyone could feel pulses of strange energy course through the air. Suddenly a portal opened right in front of the faces of the hunters. From the world on the other side they could hear a voice shouting "HAHAHAHAAA, goodbye, little worms, go spend the rest of your impossible lives with THEM!". Two persons were thrown out of the portal. Before the portal closed, Dante could see a glimpse of three, crimson red eyes. They checked the two guys that were thrown out and saw that they were demons. One of them wore a black armor and had black feathered wings and the other one looked kinda reptile-like with leathery wings. The two were unconcious but were slowly awakening. The guy in the armor looked at Dante and said "I never expected to be lying at the feet of a demon slayer like you, Son of Sparda". Dante asked "Who the hell are you?". The guy said "Hell is the right word to say, I kinda am hell, I'm the king of hell. They call me Satan. And this is my most loyal servant, Mephisto". Dante laughed and then asked "How could YOU, the strongest being in all hell, be thrown out of your realm?". The demon king replied with "Most of my servants deserted me and they took the sources of my power along with them to Mundus. He and I had a battle, but I soon turned out to be too weak even to wound him. I am now about as strong as your father when he gave up most of his powers". Dante grinned and asked "Watcha gonna do now, huh?". Satan replied with "If it's not asking a lot, I would like to add the remainders of my Mephisto's strenght to your group". Dante took some time to think and made a decision. He pulled Satan and Mephisto to their feet and said "Okay, you're in, but if you betray us, hell will be kinda empty when all of this is over!".
