Ares was walking through the ruins of a village a few miles from Dante's shop. It was raining, leaving him soaking wet. Frightened people watched him passing by while trying not to be caught by any of the demons roaming the area. "Man, when am I going to have some fun around here" he muttered.
As if someone granted him that wish, a group of demons appeared, hungry for human blood. "HAHAHA, FORM AN ORDINARY LINE, I'LL HAVE YOU ONE BY ONE!" he roared by pulling his Chaos Chainblades wich were engulfed with crimson red flames. The demons charged at him but before they knew what had happened, Ares left them burning in the same flames that his blades are engulfed with.
Right after that, a couple of Hell Vanguards turned up to control if the "intruder" was eliminated. All they found was Ares standing on top of the demons he already killed, engulfed in blue energy and flaming hair, holding the head of the legendary Medusa, turning them to stone as they looked upon it. After that, he pulled the Artemis-Blade and crushed the "fresh statues". There was one thing he didn't see coming: three Mythological Gryphions came crashing into him from the sky. "What, how did the King of Hell gain acces to the mythological armies?" he wondered while giving up the chances he could survive this.
Suddenly, a very tall man jumped up between Ares and the Gryphions. <I will not let you kill people who fight for the same purpose as I do!> he belowed. He punched the first beast in the face, leaving it's brains flying out of the back of his head. He decapitated the other two with a double-bladed axe that looked like a crusified angel with spread wings. The last beast that appeared was a Minotaur weilding a huge hammer. This time, the tall guy threw away his weapons and transformed into an even taller creature that looked to monstruos even for a demon halfbreed. The Minotaur charged upon the man who did the same thing and lowered his head for a skullbash. In the end, the Minotaur was stuck in a wall with the human monstruosity standing before him. He opened his mouth and a jawed tongue shot out of it, right into the head of the Minotaur, sucking his brains out.
The man took Ares into a wrecked house and started bandaging the wounds he suffered from the Gryphions. While breathing heavily, Ares said "Thanks for helping me. What's your name?". <My name's Gorrath Algervon, I'm a Vatican knight in a certain way.> "MAN, aren't you supposed to be working THERE, then?" <No, I'm sent all the way here by pope Sebastian the First> "He did, huh?" <Yeah, I'm supposed to travel to a guy who does demon killing for living ant team up with him. His name's Dante, son of the Legendary Dark Knight> "Well, I've been thinking about joinig him too. My bloodoath fits perfectly in all this. The only problem is that I don's know where to find him" <Well, you could figure yourself kinda lucky. My destination is only 3 miles from here.> "YEAH, as soon as my wounds are healed, the both of us can go there" <Well, Ares, since I used my self-made salve on your wounds, we could leave right away.> "ALL RIGHT, in the name of Zeus, my father!" <So, you're Zeus's last descendant> "Yep, that's me!"
The two left and traveled the last three miles between themselves and Dante's place, killing any demons in their path.
