what "IF" dante in DMC4 is actually "vergil" possing as dante?!

think about it, what motives does dante have in killing all the people of the order? also there's a bit of a clue on the discussions between "dante" and nero, wherein dante said "GIVE IT BACK AND I'LL SPARE YOU" or so (correct me if I'm wrong ok) ...

also in the trailer "dante" was seen slaying "ordinary" people of the "order", that doesn't seem to be like dante at all right?

more over the developer said "dante" and "nero" have a much deeper relation in regards to their similiarity...

Therefore "dante" there (DMC4) may actually "be" vergil trying to take back "part" of himself or his power...

We may then see the "real" dante being in the mix of it all coz of what vergil (possing as dante) did and nero giving chase to him...

HA?! wouldn't that be a nice plot to the story if it will not be in this way?

ofcourse... vergil (or part of him) is likely the power (demon) behind the corrupted arm of nero...

it may likely be that on the destruction of vergil (nero angelo) "nero" in some way or another was exposed to vergil's essence giving him the demon arm...

 the plot thickens my friends...

Yes. Vergil dressed in a red coat, styled his hair like Dante, took Dante's voice, adopted Dante's cocky personality, replicated or stole Rebellion, Ebony and Ivory, abandoned his whole beleif system and decided guns ain't such a bad weapon for a true warror after all, oh and he made sure that when using Ebony and Ivory, he held them cross arm style, besy way right? It all sounds exactly like something Vergil would do.

Look I'm sorry man, but if it looks like, sounds like, and moves like Dante. 99% of the time, it's Dante. The other 1% of the time, it's usually Vash the Stampede.

It is indeed a crazy thought, but no, it would NOT be a very good story for DMC4. It's the kind of story which would make me seriously consider flying to Capcom Japan HQ, attaching a bomb to myself, and unleashing some explosive justice.

PS: If I seemed overly harsh, I vaguelly apologise, I generally post on much more harsh boards, and this is the kind of reply I am used to giving.

i don't know about that.  thats what people thought about dante in DMC2.  i think we're just over analyzing
the game based on a few previews.  the fact of the matter is, we won't know anything 'til the game comes out.  besides, how it all turns should be a surprise

thats ok man, we do have our own opinions about these things... but you never know don't you, even how small the possibility... twins are twins... and it "IS" a fantasy game as one guys said in one thread, "in a game like DMC even dead people can come back to life" what more if only to immitate one...
