The important thing to remember its still Dante and HE has all his weapons but I agree its like starting a harder game with the best weapons.  Maybe the game developers just wanted us to work for it ya know??

Its kinda boring having it and killing everything quicker....

Re: Why did Dante ditch Rebellion?

Saying why doesn't Dante keep his weapons is like saying, Why doesn't Meagaman keep all his powers? Why doesn't Link keep all his equipment? Why doesn't Samus keep all her upgrades? Why doesn't Sora keep all his skills? Why doesn't Snake keep all his Camo's?

It's just how video games work, they aren't going to give you your characters at the super-pwerful level they were at the end of the last game at the beginning of the next. It makes the game too boring. Besides, remember, when it comes to why Capcom didn't give DMC1 his DMC3 weapons, is because at the time DMC1 was released DMC3 and it's weapons didn't exsist. They never knew there'd be a prequal.

KA: You are right about that Lobuk but you never said I was right about DOS.... *pouts* tee hee I jumped in your box....

Re: Why did Dante ditch Rebellion?

*glares* not funny but actually yes it is now that i think about it...

Noruma is one of the best game designers known to man, in my opinion that is.  He actually cares about the games he is presenting to us, he takes into account our prefrences ( even though me and you know he cant make everyone happy) then he puts the game out.  SO what if it takes longer than it was supposed to be realeased?  That means we are getting a quality game for the amount of money its being sold for.  That is every gamers dream... I know its mine waiting for a game he specifically took more time for to make sure its the best he can do for us. Not every game designer is like that hince what happened to DMC 2....

Re: Why did Dante ditch Rebellion?

I don't even understand why anyone brought this subject up...
If anyone noticed in DMC when trish broke into his lil house/building thing, he had a lot of monsters jammed into the walls with different swords in each of them(that may just explain where they all went!) And there would be NO fun in the games if you started out with all your weapons! I liked going through the game and getting new ones as you go along! And The Rebellion was the same one in the second and the third, they just changed it somewhat... eh.
    "Bang Bang..."
