    SITE UPDATE:

Check the movies section. They added some direct feed footage from the TGS demo. Haven't watched it yet, so can't comment on the quality of gameplay, but it's Capcom actually playing this time, rather than random people, so I assume it will be some of, if not thee best demonstration of early DMC4 gameplay that we have seen yet.

So there's finally some good gameplay footage from someone who can actaully play the game! It's very impressive, very cool sound and moves. Noticed that Nero says some of the same things as Dante and Vergil, such as:

    "Catch This!"

    "Flash"

    "Begone!"

But he's more energetic about it than Vergil. So he's not some clone.

Re: Devil May Cry 4: Information HQ

Did you see the style ranking words "SSS" "StyliSh Showtime" and all that...Jeez, Capcom needs to see some Rap video's to get some cooler slangs...At least the trailer was better then the TGS Gameplay played by random people...here there kinda actually know what they're doing...though whoever played this one is abusing alot of that Stinger move...

Yeah, they were all released last week. I added them to the main post:

    • The combo meters “ranks” have been revealed. They are: “Do it! Come on! Big Up! All that!” "Slammin Beat!" "SmaSh Hit", and "StyliSh Showtime" Yes.. I know…

Given the relatively low interest and poor sales they received from DMC3SE on PC (as well as alot of negative feed back) it seems unlikely they would release DMC4 on PC as well. That was kind of like a one of experiment, and part of a deal they made with.. I think it was Ubisoft or someone like them.

Plus, the console wars are in full swing now, so if DMC4 ever went to PC, it would probably be released a good 5-10 months after the PS3 release. DMC is a real killer app series for Sony, if it was available for PC anywhere near the same time as it was available on PS3, it might damage overall sales of PS3s/the PS3 version, therefore, if a PC version was made, delay would be extreme. The only next gen games you will see on PC anytime soon will be multiplatform already (i.e Creed, Jericho, UT)  Hell, even MS are keeping most of their good titles exclusive to console and not PC, despite their strong connections to PC gaming. They are going as far as denying with all their might Gears of War is not planned for a PC release (despite it being common sense that it in fact is) just so the console/console version will sell better for them.

So yeah, DMC4PC= Not an impossibility, but extremely unlikely, and definitely far far away if planned.

    Nero_The_One:

I wonder if either Lady or Trish (or both) make an appearance in the game.

Early concept art and interviews clearly prove both Lady, Trish (and Nelo as well) were considered at some point in development. (although later interviews state that for a long time the whole project was in "flux" and they really weren't sure what they were gonna do with it) Kobayashi stated at one point he was unsure wether to bring back an old heroine or bring in a new one, he went as far as to say he wanted fan opinion about it. (I assume he polled the japanese fans, rather than us) Kyrie might be indicative he chose the latter "new" option, but with us getting two "heroes", there may be room for two heroines as well (or more?) Kobayashi did joke after all, that in his opinion a heroine is important to show how cool the hero (well, at the time he said Dante) is lol Of course, given the switch up in general character dynamic, Nero might be Dantes "heroine" lol

One of the concerns I have with the whole Nero perspective (i.e the perspective of a DMC noob, Nero is the equivalent of someone who has never played DMC, just heard vague innacurate stories about it) all "old" characters will have to be reintroduced as "new" characters, the same way Dante has been. I think this could damage the general atmosphere of the game done wrong. I mean, how many "mysterious" characters can you put in before the whole mysterious angle is ruined?

Anyway, I would say Trish and/or Lady are a possibility. Especially if Dante is fully playable with his own storyline. (there is little point after all, in having Nero interact with Trish/Lady) If you had asked me before this Nero stuff, I'd have told you it was VERY likely Trish and Lady could return in DMC4, now, not so sure.

Lost perhaps, but not wasted mischief But whatever: Through the dark arts of black magic, voodoo and internet explorer, I have extended your life span by a full 20 minutes. Hell! make it 30.

haha You read at a bad time though, I'm just about to update it with the new translations and info lol
