i'm gonna answer some questions for you all with my sad, fanboy knowledge

*News to every MGS fan out there* Hideo Kojima (Director of MGS series) said that the face paint will be in Metal Gear Solid 4, just like MGS3.Also he will be getting transported everywhere in the world, (I think), he is also soluting to "someone's" tombstone... it is still unknown.

in the mgs4 trailer it is possible that he is saluting big boss, or gray fox.
however, there is a growing speculation that he is infact saluting the grave of raiden. Raiden is dead, he dies after mgs2 and returns as a cyborg ninja just like gray fox did. (not confirmed)

 

in responce to the name Jack: Raiden is called jack as is big boss/naked snake.

big boss' name is NOT John! i know where you are all getting that from but it was a lie. he used the name "john doe" which is a widley accepted substitue for joe blogs or joe public.

 

Anyone else want any questions answered about anything mgs (tips for playing or story) feel free to ask 

Oh....thanks for getting this stuff straightened out Solid Squirrel!! I always wondered why Raiden had the "artificial blood" that Playstation Magazine talked about! You really ARE an expert at MGS games!

BTW:Solid Squirrel,do you play Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistance Online?

no i can't, i'm in uk so its not out yet.  

I'm a huge fan of the mgs series also, dont worry i aint gonna try n be the resident master or whatev you said.. You say your a massive fan, does that mean your a fan of the story, characters n gameplay or are you also very good at the game?? how good are you at the game? whats your highest difficulty on mgs3 passes no special items??

Yeah part 3 is the best of yet. My biggest reason for getting a PS3 is because of MGS4 man. And yes, Ac!d series is not relative to the regular series. Its a side story.

Okay dude...what I'm saying is that what if Olga's child did die? Then in other words I said "no, because why would they have the story be like that?" Such as why would Konami say "Olga's child is going to die if Raiden dies....then in part 4 he will die and Olga's child will not be part of the series whatsoever"? So that's what I'm saying.lol

IDK guys the biggest rumor going around about Raiden is that he is dead. They say thats why he has white blood, pale facial features,and they say thats the grave Solid is saluting in the game. So if Olga's child dies when Raiden dies, the child might already be dead. Although im pretty sure once Raiden defeated Solidus in MGS2, the Patriots probably cancelled that notion of killing the child. Because they told him if he didnt carry out his mission and survive the fight the child dies. And he did carry out his mission.
