yeah chaoticgreece i know final fantasy has nothing to do with capcom game based films i wasnt saying that all i was saying was that flms that have been based on games in the past have been absoloute sh*te i hate them the only film i have seen which was based on a movie and enjoyed was ff advent children the rest were all balls resident evil sucked i dnt know what you all think bt resident evil is 1 of my fav games of all time and i hated all 3 movies they just dint make it good enuff for me to be based on such a classic game the movie should have been better and all i prey foor is that they dont make the same sort of mistake with the devil may cry movie if a movie should be based on a great game it should be a great movie not be a great game and a sh*t movie excuse the french i just hate it when that happens its 1 of my pet hats i mean look at silent hill great game plus great movie i think that i speak for us all here thats what we want to see more great games and a grea movie t go with it

I agree with Devil/ Dante here. The screwed up the RE films. In fact, most game inspired movies blew big time. Advent Children rocked. If they are to make a DmC film, it needs to be CG for the best quality.

If i remember, the transformers movie was PG-13 and there was a scene where Optimus Prime takes a sword and rams it into a decepticon's throat and the sparks looked like a spray of blood. Does that count as violent?

Also, Break, the "Higurashi no naku koro ni" anime was based on the games and those episodes were amazing. Now, if they had some animators who would like to overwork themselves to make some real action flics, then everything would be a much different story.

well if i was gonna make a dmc movie id put the movies in order like this DMC3:1st movie, DMC1:2nd movie, DMC4:3rd movie then i would make a movie on how dante became emotionless then DMC2:5th movie

I agree that if they are making a DMC movie, that it should be CG. And although its slightly off topic, there were flaws with FFVII:AC concerning the way the materis were used. When I think about it, it makes me really angry.

 Rating systems are never accurate. If something says PG-14 on the box it says R as your just about to watch it.

Resident Evil sucks. That just goes to show Capcom they shouldn't let the first filmmaker to come up to them use the license. They need a good director and good producer. If they do a CG film they can use the voice actors from the games.

It would probably be more cost effective to use voice actors...that and any actor the director would chose probably wouldn't be enough to satisfy any of the fans... 

Hmm....since I've never played resident evil, I actually enjoyed one of the movies...although it is rather pointless...Are the movies supposed to link the games together or is it actually based directly on the game (like a recap)?
