In DMC3 before dante and vergil final battle, vergil said this to dante " UNFORTUNATELY OUR SOULS ARE AT ODDS BROTHER..I NEED MORE POWER". Nero also said dis when he resurrected yamato " FROM THAT DAY FORTH MY ARM CHANGED AND A VOICE ECHOED..POWER, I NEED MORE POWER". Looking at this i m free to say JACKPOT

And that cover art doesn't prove anything. There is not a slightest notification from Capcom about DMC5. That is just a fan's interpretation of how the cover might look.

They'll make another game surely. DMC4 leaves too many questions unanswered and capcom don't really seem to like odd-ends. Look, they're probably still working with Resident Evil before even thinking on what the game will have. Three years... maybe four till they even think of a real storyline. Most likely there'll be rumours of next-gen consols by then... so... it'll be fun to see what they could change to the gameplay, and add to the plot...

you intially said vergil never said those words. anyway u r right about the little difference b/w nero and vergil words. i could probably say that vergil was ordering his vessel(nero) to give him more power. Since he failed to get more power when he was around...he asks some else to gain it for him becos his will is still strong.

 

Yes, you are probably right, joe spider. But I think Nero still wanted power for himself too in order to protect Kyrie.

Anyway, my original comment was meant to show that Nero's quote can't indicate in any way that Vergil would be his father.

 I knew someone was gonna as me that, and I was just thinking about it, but at the moment nothing comes to mind, just something different, at the end of every game Dante seems to get a phone call saying he's got an important mission, one with a "password" how about a game on that? Dante had to get all those skulls scattered throughout the Devil May Cry shop somewhere, how about a game concerning the various missions he's taken, not just one major one like the rest of the games, and yes, I know the anime concerns that point, but we can't play the anime can we?
 

now see, that ideas good and all, but seriously, you don't want to know more about the relationship between dante and nero (father son perhaps). there was a hint in dmc 1 that dante was thinking of having a son, if u remember after defeating mundus, mundus says "i will return" or something along those lines, and dante says, give your regards to my son. Nero on the other hand is obviously part demon, an bears a striking resemblence to dante, and is also an orphan. these are the questions i want answered in the next game. also maybe a little more about vergil would be nice.

 devil may cry 5 would be sweet and i have to say id love it to at least involve sparda in his day!

 

the story could go something like..

lucia (dmc2) is in the underworld investigating a rumour she heard about demons trying to resurect sparda by calling for his soul via a ritual to be preformed by the uppermost level demons i.e devil knights from sparda's past who trained and fought along side him untill he turned against them and fought for the humans.

she finds the ritual site and sees the remaining 5 devil kinghts in attendence.  and sure enough the ritual works and sparda's soul is brought back from the here-after but b4 she can comprehend what this means shes spotted and persued by lower demons.

on her desperate attempt to escape back to the human realm she gets almost within reaching distance of the portal only to get caught and of course tourtured and killed.

 
knowing lucia set of for the demon realm but not the why.. dante sets of in search of her..

enter dante, trish, lady, nero,  and of course virgil (maybe reincarnated inside nero? whos somehow seperated from yamato?

of course the journey stirs up all sorts of flashbacks for all involved revealing the story behind nero and his arm, more detail into sparda's past, dante's opening for wisecracks, the manipulation of the once demon trish? theres all sorts of ways to go with it..

 i guess they need a good story teller to please the fans!

about the message that was left behind after dante killed mundus....i believe that message was written by sparda himself. I guess after sparda defeated mundus....he said the same thing that he would return....so sparda knew it will take a long tym b4 dat happens and he wrote down a message for mundus in advance "send ur regards to my son"......which was eventually dante.

In my opinion, Devil May Cry 5 is a certainty to the series at this current point.

That is to support what I said -- with sales up and the fact that Kobayashi stated he wanted to continue the series, it looks to be certain that Devil May Cry 5 is coming, not sure what exactly they will do with it this time. Hopefully its going to be a sequel to 4 (or possibly 2) I wouldn't mind. But enough with the prequels, lol.

oh steven i almost forgot  what do you think about my idea about my future devil may cry game you have 3 storylines Dante and Vergil as Kids D and V as Teenagers and them when they were adults and if u complete the 3 senarios youll get the 4th one wich would be about there children and there are three modes story practice and freestyle story is where you have the 3 storys practice is where you chooose a place to duh practice with new weapons and abilities and ffreestyle is where you can do amything u want without dying and ill add a fourth mode that has all the dmc games and stories and for the fith it will be a vs mode your characters ar the dantes 123 and 4 kid dante teen dante and adult dante nelo vergil normal vergil kid teen and adult vergil nero kid teen and adult nero

Don't always take Wikipedia as the most credible source. People can always edit these things and if they had proof about this, it should be in the resources section at the bottom, at least a link to an interview. I personally do not believe this until someone can show more proof.

sounds like an ok idea but it would take a long time to develop and a couple discs would be needed. of course blue ray does hold more data than DVD but still at least two discs. MY opinion on the matter: DMC 5 is inevitable, unless Capcom is stupid and does something like close the studio(Clover studio sound familiar?). Anyways it would be really cool if you started off in the demon realm(after DMC 2) and you encountered Mundus as a first boss. As soon as you begin the battle its a tutorial(like DMC 4 you can switch this off) and you learn the ropes. After you beat Mundus you ride out of hell and meet Lucia. You then leave the island and go back to your business. Trish is there (or not) and you find out why Dante has become so serious and cold. Dante lays around for a while then his shop gets wrecked and messed up(from something idk what though). He leaves all pissed off and goes to combat whatever it was. Along the way you encounter Nero again. In the course of this game one major character dies, be it Dante Nero Trish or Lady hopefully Kyrie. (lol) Thatts my storyline.

when they do bring out i Devil May Cry 5 i hope they do a storyline like an evil force who ressurects sparda from the dead and uses him for evil to kill off the human world and even his sons i think it would be awsome fighting with the great sparda i would also like it if they made the game more like the first Dmc and made it hard as Dmc 2 3 4 were way too easy it would be awsome i would also like to see an apperance from vergil to hel dante stop there father. no matter what there has to be another devil may cry coming out and i cnat wait yet again iv still to play dmc 4 cant wat to get it :D
