I love DMC but DMC2 was really "cack". At least, it is in comparison to 1 and 3. DMC 1 was hard, granted, but after a while you got used to it. Same as 3, although 1 took slightly longer to get used to.

well i would have say that devil may cry 1 is the hardest by far it isalso the best game by far the bosses are also the koolest in dmc 1 loved the game

I think that it's the first DMC for me that was rock hard (took me ages to complete) and then I'd say number 3 was a little -less difficult but still quite hard. I found 4 fine though (well maybe the last mission was hard) and 2 was easy.

Dmc1 is easly the hardest out of the bunch at the moment i thought i would go bk and play  old game and its Dmc1 and am playinmg it on dante must die mode now thts a hard game lol love it tho

1 was... hard.if i remember right u had to lock in order to shoot n u have 2 combos with each weapon.but i finished it in 3.30 hours.
2 was veeeeery easy n i dont know why.
3 was hard at the beginning.when i got used to it it was nothing special.
4 was easy with nero.but when it changed to dante...martyrdom.until i got used to him too.only the stage against the savior took me some time.
