You're telling me that fifty million screaming fans are never wrong.

Not sure if I'ce shared this one or not already, but this thread continues to nag at me because I write poetry a lot. So, I give you one of my --in my opinion, anyhow -- best writen and longest. xD;

Wind Chime

Whatever was I thinking when I dreamt so high?
Of sitting on rainbows touching the sky?
Dreaming of the atmosphere coated with sugar.
Believing things were fixed purely by stain remover
made of alcohol, but of course I knew
that something so blatantly obvious couldn't be true.
How could a substance of intoxication
be a possible aid in regeneration?

But as humans desire what cannot be obtained,
I dreamt of that sky and was severely pained.
Hovering on the heart of the ideas of
a single little girl from down looking above,
who has desperate hopes of being free
and tasting the sugar sky with gapped and broken teeth.
And the American dream to fly
away from this life,
and away from here;
away from becoming what she will continually fear.

Guilty accusations and as the prosecutours
read quickly through her misdemeanours,
she's calling creation something unknown
while screaming that things cannot be foreshown.
,So how can we prevent the flow of time
from singing that hated, deadly rhyme?
And stop things for now uncertain?'
One replies; ,We cannot see past this Iron Curtain.
But we can raise up our silver shields so unheavenly
even if our arms break from pressure so heavy.
It's better to have resisted
than for hope to have never existed.'

And in those brutally honest blue eyes
came a conviction free from lies.
He easily could see through her
as he stated, ‘All we can go with is what things were.
Learn from the past, but live in your times.
Wake not from alarm but soothing wind chimes,
for the path we take will end the same
and with all gone who is there to blame?
Who committed genocide
if no one being will reside?'

And through kind gestures
you said words that were unspoken.
But lacking the presence of untimely protectors
Promises were lost, gestures all broken.
,If you were my wind chime, how will I wake now?'
To replace you in my heart I just won't allow.
Though, you'd rather me be happy
even if you weren't the wind chime for me.

And how can something symbolic be something so real?
What one time was dead now continues to feel.
Is it rebirth and reincarnation
as slowly come back a once distant sensation?
It becomes less a need to hide in that energy,
for around these new strangers I can be me.
Though the guilt piles high and I cannot forget
that which makes me turn back and try to acquit,
but firm hands surround me and tighten their grasp
as I am constricted and denied to move back.
Silhouettes well above my hairline all say;
that they won’t let me set out the wrong way.
It’s over their dead bodies that I should fall ironside
if there is a setback, we all should abide.

 your hair's the only thing thats modest

it covers you supple b reast

you voice a silky tone

sends a shiver threw my bone

your pure black dress

causes me to make a "mess"

of my energy you suck me dry

while you cause my time to fly by

while our liquids are mixen

I think you're a red haired vixen

 there you go, I can write poems of just about anything, but love poems are my forte. if you want me to make you a poem, tell me what type. (freestyle, rhyming ect.) and tell me what its about (a person, an animal, ect.) if it is a person, tell me about them, hair, eyes, body, personality, ect.

the one she kept

Lady of the night

He was impressed on how you walked in
She was an innocent one, one without Sin.

He stood out, from the others.
She took him out to her home....
they conversed, she thaught they might be lovers...

But.

He was not. what she exspected
He stayed up late into the night.
But when he struck, there was no fight

There was no more light
No more sun
No more silver In her gun

He, Was just a monster
She, was now the lady of the night
He, Bit her while she slept
She, Died before she had wept..

She passes on, without a tear
He breathed eternal life into his dear.

Her eyes opend. Horrer in her mind
He, was a monster, both seductive, and kind.

And OH

She was running out of things too throw.
His Anger, was slow to grow.

He damned her. he was trying to give her joy
She, was sad and confused she just felt like a toy.

Fists pounding againsed his Chest.
She couldent listen to reason
Her face he wished to coress
This love never lasted a season...

He was not Human enoph
She was not monstrus enoph

It was late into another night...
He had his back turned, she entered from the right

and OH

Her vengence came too soon
His eye fell, to the blood red, full moon

He fell to the floor, Gasping his last breths
a steak made from wood, inbedded in his chest.

She, was not crying hard enoph
I, am not dieing fast enoph.

Deception is fun

And devotion is trite

As red as the skies

As burned as the trees

With blood in his eyes

He falls to his knees

As black as the churches

As light as the Soul

This holy man lurches

Scared of mysteries untold

As red as their lies

As burned as their crosses

What they despise

Is covered in mosses

As Holy as them

As demonic as you

The Third Eye dim

As we take in this view

What doesn’t exist

Is what we thought mattered

What we can’t resist

Only made us fatter

As dark as the Law

As light as the Chaos

The Earth is still raw

Still covered in moss

As old as the scars

As new as the Age

As often as wars

Still fuel the Rage

As often as the Ancients

Have a story to tell

I will wish for patience

For him waiting in Hell

As light as the night

As repented as sin

A devil just might

Find Heaven within.

When going outside

We put on the mask

Say its carbon monoxide

And poisonous gas

So, little do we greet

As much as we do

Though we’ll never meet

I’ll type this to you

To all that I’m missin’

To all of my peers

As long as you’ll listen

For the next few years

As healthy as trash

As toxic as nectar

Put on your HAZ-MATS

To build a new sector

Build a big ladder

So we’ll touch the stars

A stairway to Saturn

An elevator to Mars

Build it vast

To block out all else

Build it fast

To forget ourselves

As fast as time

As slow as lightning

What was sublime

Is now only frightening

And once we’ve forgot

And destroyed this place

We’ll leave this rock

Into empty space

As silence is loud

As the land is still bare

The mushroom cloud

Still fills our nightmares

Embrace radiation

Feel it within

Worse than anything.

Why do you want to be someone your not?

It’s not cool.
