    Small Town RPG

Greg shook his daughter lightly to wake her up. Outside the sun had risen and the city was quiet. The night had passed, and with it the demons. Greg knew they had to have an early start and early finish today. Today Greg planned to visit the grocery store which was a thirty minute drive from where they lived. That was the problem, thirty minute drive. Greg and his daughter didn't have a car. They lost the car just before all this had happened. They had gotten into a wreck and they were supposed to get a rental, but it never happened. Greg and his daughter were in desperate need for supplies such as: water, instant food, and canned foods. They had plenty of luxuries such as chocolate and other candies, but candy wouldn't quench their thirst and fill their bellies.

    "Dad, what time is it?"

"It doesn't matter what time it is, the sun is up."

Greg's daughter, Lauren rolled over onto her stomach. "Dad, do I have to go? Can I just stay here?"

"No, I need you to go with me."

Lauren took a deep breath, then got out of bed.

"Dad! Where is the toothpaste!?" yelled Lauren from their bathroom

"It should be in the shower!" replied Greg

    "Thanks Dad."

Lauren began brushing her teeth, but toothpaste was about the only luxury they had. They had no bath water, no hair products, and definitely no deoderant. Lauren came out of the bathroom after rinsing with the clear rain water from the previous night. Greg quickly brushed his teeth too, then pushed Lauren out the door. It took them a while to get to the grocery store, but when they did they quickly rummaged through the aisles and took only the essentials.

As the sun arose the light peered through the barred windows and the cracks in the door. Finally morning had come and it was time for Leon to start his daily rutine of getting up, cleanin himself the best he could with the supplies he had, working out to stay in shape, and go get food and drinks to live on. Leon had enough for one but only enough for a couple more days, maybe, and that if he used them sparsely. He didnt have any transportation, but he didnt need any, he loved to exercise and a ten mile jog for him was easy. The town has always been quite but since the demons came he has not seen any other life and he started to wonder, how many people were left?

"The sun is up finally," Leon thought to himself as he started to open up the windows and door of his house.

"I cant believe im so low on supplies, well i better get headed out don't want to take to long getting everything done," he said to himself.

Leon threw on a back pack grabed a pistol, his trusty knife that he never went anywhere without, and started the ten miles to the store, not knowing who or what he would see on the way there. By the time he got to the store it looked about ten o'clock and he started to load up with food and water, grabbing some cleaning products on the way out.

"Just incase i see anyone i dont want to smell too bad," he said with a smirk.

"Seven hundred and one.....seven hundred and two....seven hundred and three...."

The sun finally rises, shining bright through the worn-out curtain of her bed.

"Ah well. Sheeps never helped." she sighed. Insomnia had haunted her for as long as she could remember, but Luc did not seem to care about them any longer.

As the cold shower hits her delicate, fair skin, she felt something in her that keeps telling her today she'll have some guests in her small motel. Its been a while since she saw anyone but Ben, the one who brings goods to her motel so she could continue the seemingly about to collapse business of hers.

"Young lady, why won't you just sell this place and move on to the city?" she remembered what Ben said only last week.

"I promised Mr William that I'd keep it as long as I could. You know far too well that I owe him too much. I cannot possibly just ignore his last will."she remembered her answer very well in her head.

She knew she'd have guests today.

"Hey Dad, I am going to check in the back for food!" yelled Greg's daughter from across the store

"No, I can't watch you over there!"

In total disregard for her father's orders, the girl walked through the two doors leading to the very back warehouse-type section of the store. She looked around, empty. BOOM!

    "Oh, my God!"

A box had dropped, nothing more. She laughed and picked it up. When her line of sight was clear, she could see a dark liquid seeping through the roof and forming a puddle on the ground. Her curiosity overpowered her cautiousness and she went to inspect the puddle. She placed one finger into the dark puddle and it felt sticky and abrasive. The dark goo wouldn't come off. It started spreading. First it covered her arm, then it steadily went upward. She started screaming and the dark substance began to swallow her. An evil laugh and a father's lamenting were the only things heard in the store...

Tez walks downstairs in the warehouse that he adopted as his base of operations. He pushes a large green button and the warehouse door opens. No sooner does the light of the moon enter the place 3 low class demons jump inside toward Tez. A smirk comes on his face.

He side steps and Does a horizintal slash, followed by an additional side step then a nother horizontal slash, finally ending with a Vertical slash on the final demon.

The shrieks of hellspawn can be heard aloud as they reuturn to hell.

"Thats the third time this week they tried that" tez says as hell begin to exit his safehouse.

    SWWWHAAACKKK!!!

A large Thud is heard as Tez hits the wall from the unexpected blow received from a large figure.
