Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
(Woooooooooooooo just made it! My appologies for the absence. Personal reasons.) Alien dived for cover the moment Jinn said his first word, it heard the urgency in it. It flew high into the air - so high the flames did not reach it's body, though it's feet were slightly burnt by the heat of the flames it as escaping. Only when the flames subsided did it stop rising. It looked down at the city, it rapidly began a search of the area for servivors, all to soon it came across the burnt body of the Tengu, "May you be at peace..." It said as it turned and walked away, there was no time to stand around grieving when there could be more survivors lying within inches of death. It limped slightly.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
"Ugh, what the-" A sudden wave of dizziness washed over Alan. The world seemed to spin as a light-headed feeling overtook his mind, as though he was losing...substance? The Belmont looked down and couldn't believe his eyes, his entire body was "flickering" in and out of sight. It was then that he suspected the worst. "Did I do something wrong? Will I....cease to exist?" Before he realized it, a huge wave of fire quickly streamed towards him. With no control over his body, Alan closed his eyes and awaited for the inevitable, only to hear a sudden rush of wind and then....nothing? Alan opened his eyes again to find himself standing in the coliseum stands, where charred carcasses laid in place of the cheering contestants. Another rush of wind came and the world blurred out of sight again, only to reappear as Alan found himself standing in the ashen ruins of the surrounding city. "My God.....what's going on?" "Allow me to explain." a familiar, light-hearted voice answered. Alan slowly turned to see St. Germain's face. As always, the mysterious time-traveler retained his calm and somewhat amused expression. "Death's followers have been dealt with and are on their merry way back home." Germain mused. "Then...why does it feel like...-" Alan groaned before Germain cut him off. "Ah, yes. About that...well, I've concocted a rather crude way of returning you to the present. Don't bother asking. It would take too long to explain it to you. Just relax and everything-" Germain said before the world blurred away once again. When Alan's sight returned, he found himself standing beside the melting remains of a stone wall. "-will be fine. Like I said, this is a rather crude solution, so random 'jumps' are to be expected." Germain's voice finished. The Belmont turned to see Germain brushing ash off his elegant red coat. With what remained of his strength, Alan limped over to the time traveler. Stars began to fill his vision as his body began to fade. Just before he lost his footing, Alan lurched forward and grabbed Germain by the collar of his coat. "Stop it!" Alan gasped. "Excuse me?" Germain replied. "I must...help them..." "I don't think you understand. All of this is meant to happen. You cannot tamper with that which has already been decided." "Just do it!!!" Alan tightened his hold on Germain and glared straight into his eyes with fierce resolve. "Alright....alright...." The time traveler reached into his pocket and pulled out a strange star-shaped watch that had a gold-plated button on the side. "Now would you kindly release me?" Germain asked. The Belmont complied and let go, slumping to his knees. By now, Alan's body appeared as ethereal as a ghost. "Let's see...three clicks and..." Germain mumbled as he pressed the watch's button. "...that should do it." Almost as though a switch turned, Alan's body instantly solidified and his strength returned. The Belmont stood back up and stared in awe at Germain's watch. "Time is such a wondrous thing, isn't it? I must go now. The Destination Paradox is the only thing that's ensuring the safety of the timeline and it could expire at any moment." With a tip of his top hat, Germain instantly vanished in a bright flash of light. "Now then, what should I do about this?" Alan muttered as he turned to assess the surrounding destruction. The stench of charred bodies filled the air as Alan wrapped up his Vampire Killer and walked around, searching for any survivors. A faint voice drew his attention to a partially melted wall. He looked behind it and found Jinn, sitting in a low posture. "Jinn? What just happened here?"

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
The flame lashed out at every one!. Amaya, being the Pyro she was attempted to controll the flames, but to no use, the wave of fire continued to consume everything before her, Victer seeing this, attempted to run to his friends rescue!, but unfortunatly, they were both just too slow, and the flame instantly turned them into ash...
Might on the other hand was busy "takeing care" of guards that were trying to just get away from the flames behind him. no one would know if Might was just trying to help the others or what he was thinking, the flames reached him and the guards, and turned them to ash aswell...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"***...*** *** ***!" Jinn finally opend his eyes blackness.....was he dead?.... it was then Alien and Allen pulled the rubble off of Jinn and he blinked confused at them, then sat up and saw what happend to every one els... "...oh..." he looked to the two. "did you see any one els survive?" but he could tell by the look on there faces... "this is... not what I exspected..."
(gah gotta go il write the rest later >_<)
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
As Irvine sought for signs of life amidst the destruction, pieces of debris that piled into a small mount of rubble tumbled down to signal that there was someone trapped under the stones. The omnimancer couldn't help but approach and have a closer look, inspecting the spot closely with a curious and apathetic stare... *WHAM* A fist emerged knuckle-first from the ground and soon reached Irvine's face, sinking fiercely into his cheek with beastly strength. -"I'm a man of my word..."- spoke Silver, who emerged from the wreckage with multiple scratches, cuts, and burns spread throughout his body. Also, his shirt was completely gone, leaving him only with a tattered bandanna, trousers, wrist bandages, and worn out boots.
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
The fist continued to sink into Irvine's face until only his wrist was visible. "Wasn't you're deal with me, and not Calvin?" The necromancer, perched atop a burnt piece of timber, looked at the smith with cheer in his eyes and malice in his smile. "Ya know, an old man once said, 'those who use the muscles in there arms hit first, but those that use the muscles in there head always hit last.' come to think of it, you where the one who came charging out of the stands at me..." with a spin, "Calvin" dislogged the smith's fist and hurled Silver into a pile of stone that had been conveniently built there. *crash* Irvine retracted his arms and narrowed his eyebrows to fake sympathy for his newest victim. "OOOOoooooooo" was all he said as he watched the smoke clear from the pile of rubble and silver. "Say, you can hand me that punch some other time. I'm going to go try and save some lives." Irvine vanished from sight after uttering his words.
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Jinn and the others had finally serched the entire city, finding little to no survivors from the blaze. even the people in the Colosieum had there share of casualtys. as darkness fell, and it was now night, al of the survivors sat n a large ring a Fire going in the middle of them. Hanzo and Jinn were discussing what was going to happen.
"This Fenrir, what i his goal?." the Shadow assasin asked, his eyes always remaining in that "half asleep" look, Jinn had his Mechanica arm folded with his real one and looked into the flameing blaze. "the Demon craves destruction and chaos... I can only think of one place that he would go to make sure the entire world see's that". some of the survivors leand in closer to listen on, while others didnt pay any attention at all.
"Niflheim" looking to the others, they didnt seem too fermilier with it. "it is a place unreachble by foot... he must have some way of delivering himself into it , far from here... Niflheim is a land for dead men". he concluded. "so, there is a fast way there, but no way of comeing back if we go that rout".
"Well where ever he' going im going to hunt him!" the scantly clad Livia stood , stomping her foot. "That **** Killed my Friend!" she said, refering to the Tengu. "just like you did". wich rose the question. "... Jinn, why did you kill a contestant when you knew there was somthing wrong with the Tornoment master... why didnt you warn us before the fight?" "Well.... the big guy was out for my guts... s if he didnt kill me in there, he would have surly tried it later... and no one would believe me if I rambled on about, a Demon takeing over the tornoment!". but every one was silent.
Fenrir Travled alone, his blood lust was subsided , and he could go some time without feeling the need to burn everything to ashes. Now that there out of my way.. I can find my own means of getting to Niflheim... though he knew of a Passage... Guarded by a Dragon, it lie to the north, where the sands turned to snow.
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Alien listened to Jinn's words intently, "So how do we get there? Other than killing ourselves?" It reflected on what Jinn had said of the man he had killed, and Alien understood - it was obvious that he lusted for Jinn's blood. Turning to Livia, Alien sighed, "Calm down - if you get hot headed over him you're certain to find death. One must think through their actions before jumping into trouble."
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Silver remained quiet as everyone else ranted on about Fenrir and some dead men's land. He was thinking about the casualties amongst their ranks, about Irvine, and everything that had happened so far. But most of all, he remembered the conversation with Erika. -"I must head back to my shop to retrieve some stuff. Surely the locale's been reduced to ashes, but I trust the underground vault was strong enough to resist the demon's assault..."- The blacksmith stood up and began the march towards his business's remains. -"By the way, for those of you who might be interested, I will let you know that I'm a blacksmith, and a really good one at that. So, if you'd like me to have a look at any of those facy shivs you're carrying, I'll be more than glad to temper their steel to a most superior grade."-
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Easy… it was all so Easy Fenrir walked past the Anciant guards… the rattleing clatter of Bones againsed Steel, as the dead rose to the Intruder, though stopped, at some things command… more or less a puppet master. “My my, Dear sister you have set up quite the defences” he clapped his hands, as he stepped further into the Icey Chambers of the cave. “Though, It will go unused… what a shame”. He sighed. At the far end of the cave was a gate the only man made way into Niephalhiem, it was not known to many at all, for all who had tried to enter was slaughtered by the Undead… or the greater guardian… Standing before the gate, he swong it open, admediatly the ground beneath him froze solid, as did the gates!, frozen open, fomr the sevear cold within. “Il be right there….Hel”. “Hey Silver, can you craft something to go over my hand?, im not mutch of a Weapons wielder, my hands are just as good as any blade!” he ran after the smith, Eager to see the exstent of his work.
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Alan followed Silver to his shop, taking the smith's offer into consideration. " Hmmm. The Vampire Killer can't be tampered with since it was forged from alchemy and soul-binding. Maybe my daggers and axes..." The Belmont unconsciously placed a hand on his whip as he contemplated his options. He then removed the belts that held his knives and throwing axes and gestured at Silver. "I'll take you up on that offer. These weapons could use a refinement."
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Alien stood to follow Silver and the others, but then flew low as it's feet made it slow. "My sword is even trying to burn me today... I doubt that it would allow anyone to touch it now... no matter how much I begged," Alien laughed. "I carry no other weapons..." It wondered would it be wise to get something to throw for it realised it was only suitable for close quarters, "Do you have anything to sell? For long distance fighting?"
Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Back at the place where his shop used to be, nothing but scorched debris and junk remained.
-"Augh, my tobacco..."- lamented Silver as he found the remains of a wooden box with the scent of tobacco lingering on it -"Right through here, guys."- As the blacksmith guided them, the group finally arrived at what seemed to be a large iron trapdoor on the floor. Silver took hold of the ring handle on one of the ends and pulled from it with all his strength. The veins and muscles in his arms buffed up from the effort, until the door finally gave in and was opened with a loud screech. -"Phew. Alright, stay close."- remarked Silver as he stepped on the stone stairs that descended quietly and vanished into the darkness. There was an oil lamp hanging from the immediate wall, which the smith took hold of and lit up with a blazing piece of timber that laid around in the ruined shop. -"It's a long way down, hope none of you mind."-
