Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Once Wolf was off, Midori was able to be alone for a while, her thoughts wandering off to the past soon after...
~~~~~~~~~
The Silvermyth company´s horses eventually arrived at Burguen, a well kept and prosperous town situated amidst the wilderness of the mountains. There to recieve them were the marshal and his men, all of them looking more like bandits from an old western movie than actual upholders of the law. -"Greetings, marshal. We´re the Silvermyths sent to dispatch the demon who´s been raiding this town. My name is Amelia Derringuard, should you need to consult anything with us, you only need address me first."- The marshal, who appeared to be chewing some tobacco carelessly, exchanged gazes with his men before grinning at her maliciously. -"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Derringuard. Please, come this way, it is our duty to ensure your stay is a pleasant one."- -"We´re grateful to you, marshal."- thanked Amelia before she and her companions were escorted to their quarters.
On their way there, the glances that the marshal´s men gave Midori and her commanding officer made her uneasy. -"I know, Midori, but there´s nothing to worry about. Should they try anything ill, their heads will roll without a moment´s hesitation."- spoke Amelia loud enough for everyone to hear when she noticed her companion´s concern. Her cerulean eyes then met with those of one of the lackey´s, who´s stare widened in surprise when he saw how vile and fierce she could be, completely capable of fulfilling her threats. -"There, there, no need to get touchy-feely now. We´re all on the same side here after all, so I apologize if my men made you feel uncomfortable in any way."- excused the marshal as they arrived at the doors of a decent-looking inn -"I´ve already arranged your stay with the inn keeper, so whatever you may need, please don´t hesitate to ask for. Oh, and before I forget. We´re holding a celebration tonight to commemorate your arrival. We would be grateful if you honored us with your presence at the local tavern to join us for a few drinks."- -"We´ll be there."- replied Amelia before descending from the horse. -"Marvelous. We´ll be looking forward to it."- With that, the marshal excused himself with a tug of his hat and was off on his way. Once they were out of sight, Midori addressed her superior. -"Are we seriously going to drink with those swines?! Didn´t you see how their eyes were all over us!"- -"Sharing a drink with someone forms bonds, whether these are faint or strong, it doesn´t matter. If we are to work for these men, we better get aquainted with them. I´m sure that´s what Ray would want us to do with all our clients, to ensure a successful deal."- Midori stared at Amelia with a bit of concern, but then deviated her gaze, a bit ashamed as she removed her belongings from their steed. -"Yeah, you´re right. Forgive my nonindulgence."- ~~~~~~~~
-"Bonds..."- whispered Midori as she eyed Killrock´s CD attentively, which she then tossed overboard to be lost forever in the waters of Griffon Tail´s port.
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Nayo
opened the doors to Ray’s office. “So I’m just checking up… oh my…” The Guild
lord was standing on his desk, looking around himself franticly with sword at
hand. “It’s still in here…I think. Unless it was an illusion…” Ray spoke darkly
as he looked at Nayo. “Did you do this? Are you and Nate working together?”
“Ray… what happened? I wouldn’t do anything to upset you!” Nayo placed her hand
on her chest. “I’m hurt you’d even think I’d create an illusion to scare you.”
*KNOCK
KNOCK*
Nate's knuckles struck the open door
gently to let them know of his presence.
-"Hey,
Nayo, how's it going? What's up, chief? WHOA!"-
Nate smirked and chuckled slightly
as he rubbed the back of his head with one of his hands. He almost bursted into
laughter as he saw Ray standing there, like a crazed maniac holding a sword.
-"You don't look good, chief. What did you do to him, Nayo?"- he
inquired at the time he patted his fellow Silvermyth's shoulder. "I-I
didn't do anything to him, he's accusing me of helping you." Ray just
rolled his eyes at her response as he descended from the desk and placed his
sword against the wall.
"Unless
you can explain where the lizard man went after leaving my office Nate, I
suggest you leave immediately." Nate stepped forward casually as he then
circled around the headmaster. -"Lizard man, huh? Long black hair, pale
skin, and a knack to creep people out?"- the Silvermyth instructor began
to describe as he awaited Ray's reaction.
"Yes, yes, that's all fine and
dandy." The guild lord grabbed Nate's shoulder in an attempt to stop him
from pacing around himself. "Did you kill it?" -"I think I did…
but I also think he was already dead to begin with."- replied Nate as his
smile was suddenly replaced by a solemn stare -"Anyway, he managed to
escape once our battle saw itself concluded."- "you killed him but he
escaped? how very interesting. I wish I knew how to kill people yet allow them
to escape, it would save me a lot of frustration, but seeing as I
can't..." Ray seized Nate and Nayo by there shirt collars. "...I'll
just banish you from my site." he quickly walked to the door with his
subordinates, placed them on the other side, and then shut the door. the two
could hear a dead bolt being placed across the door, as well as various other
locking mechanisms.
"Well..." Nayo said
looking at her companion. "Do you think it's still around here, and what's
grumpy's problem?" Nate placed both hands on his waist as he smiled and
chuckled faintly.-"Heh, can't tell for sure. Maybe that talk I had with
him earlier made Ray hotheaded. Maybe he's just going a little funny in the
head after so many years of confinement. Whatever it is, I think we should warn
the other Silvermyths about the situation at hand. That snake dude is
definitely dangerous and must be dealt with as soon as possible."-Nayo
adjusted her glasses. "Sounds like a plan, I don't think we have to worry
about him getting in there." Nayo chuckled as she walked to one end of the
long corridor, so naturally, Nate would walk down the other way.
As Nate walked the other way, he saw
a familiar silver haired figure leaning up against the wall in a multi-colored
robe. "Hello Nate, long time no see. how's my failure of a son holding
up?" Nate smiled and chuckled as he approached. -"Well, if it isn't
you, pops. Me? I've been doing pretty neat lately, if I do say so myself,
though Ray could hire a more suitable maid, if you know what I mean."- the
Silvermyth instructor spoke as he slowed down his pace.
"Yes, this place is quite
filthy isn't it? almost... corrupted... much like it's honor system."
Irvine's menacing smile disappeared as he glared around to make sure no one was
watching them. "Listen, I'm trying to find Midori, I think she has a mole
here and I sense they met today. you wouldn't know anything about that would
you?"
Nate kept his smile up, always
putting up a cool front.
-"Midori? Hah, you mean the
rogue you killed years ago?"- he replied as he fixed his stare on his
father." Ya know Nate, I'm really sad now... you'll lie to your old man,
but you won't lie to her when she asks you where Gail’s Dutchmen’s at. is it
the fact that your old man doesn't have boobs?"
The teacher laughed at Irvine's
response.
-"Good one, pops, but hey, now
I wonder. If you think I told a dead person where the Dutchman was, what are you
still doing here? Isn't it your goal to punish the wicked, smite the
ill-hearted, and I don't know what other nonsense you uphold as the truth of a
black lieutenant?"- "well, I don't know... I think a mole is
definitely something I'm allowed to kill. even if it's my own son... I guess I was hoping my boy would have more
common sense than to lie to his old man." Irvine pulled out a kriss that
was about as long as his fore arm was. it's wavy edge shimmered as the
artificial indoor lighting was reflected by it. "I'd like to see if my boy
is at least man enough to back up his
mistakes. The glow of Irvine's blade was reflected onto Nate's semblant as this
last one closed his eyelids slightly to protect his eyes from the brightness.
-"Now you're the one who makes
me sad, pops. Heh, not being able to let go so easy must be hard on you
sometimes."-
As he said this, Nate knocked on his
father's chest softly, around the area where a scar had been left by a runaway
years ago.
Irvine just smiled. "Your too
forgiving Nate. I'm not sure whether that's a pro or a con about you, but it's
definitely a trait... thanks for the talk anyway..." With a swift,
lightning fast motion, the omnimancer cut a huge gash in his sons chest. red
water droplets filled the sky as Nate toppled over backwards, watching his
blood shimmer as it rained down onto his face as he slowly lost consciousness.
"Hey, Nate! wake up!"
the teacher opened his eyes to see
Nayo holding him upright. "Are you ok? I heard you fall over in the hall,
you seem ok now." Nate's garb was all in one piece, there wasn't even a
scar to be seen.
Nate stared back at her as he then
held his forehead with one hand.
-"It's nothing…I must be tired,
that's all."-
He then stood up and tread slowly in
the direction of his room.
-"I'm gonna go and take a nap,
Nayo. Thanks for your help."-
She smiled and got up to leave, but
noticed a tall figure with silver hair. By the time she blinked, it was gone. Perhaps
her mind was playing tricks on her? She chuckled to herself at the idea of an
illusionist being tricked by an illusion…
"Excuse,
Akasuki. I've run into a bit of a problem. This boy..." Kiyo said,
gesturing at Sieg, "....won't stop following me. He has some magic
potential and he apparently looted from the thieves' vault, so he might have a
few useful items on him. What should I do? I told him we might send him back to
headquarters, but he insists on coming with us."
The samurai Gave kiyo a very familiar look. It
was the same look that people gave him about a half a second before he killed
them. it was sort of a mixture of regret and despair. “Eh… I knew you where
going to ask me that somehow, even with ‘unsociable’ written all over your
profile. The boy can come with us if he has potential… but I’d prefer you kept
him a secret from Gail, he won’t like the idea of such a hitch hiker. Obviously
he’ll have to stay on the ship at all times. as for the ‘loot’ he has, it will
have to be inspected, we aren’t thieves, so most of that gold and jewelry should
remain here with the people it originally belonged to. Now, if that doesn’t sound too bad, let’s
head off to the ship, I’d like to get out of here as soon as possible…”
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Once again, it was night time,
everyone was asleep and the android was left to roam away, killing his boredom.
Killrock stood on the Very end of the Dutchmen, scouting out foul naive from
bellow, a barrel of apples his choice of ammunition this time. as the android
looked on, he spotted his target, it was a long, skinny, Chinese dragon...oh
wait...
The majestic creature landed atop
the Dutchmen once again, this time, a look of determination in the dragon's
eyes. "you, the one who wears the holy armor, you must aid me, it is
time!". "About ‘aiding’ you" Killrock started and pointed at the
Dragon as he held an apple. "First off, I'm a bit busy, so now isn’t a
good time, second, this is my SKIN!" "I have your handwriting on a contract..."
The dragon thrust forth his stubby arm, showing Killrock the document.
"And if you look at line 1,342, you'll see it states that you must serve
me when ever I call you, like ,now..." "You expect me to READ!"
the Robot grabbed for the document to tear it to pieces "Il show you where
you can tuck line 1,242! and all the lines BEHIND IT!!!"
"you silly silly man..."
The dragon chuckled darkly as his tail turned into a long, sharp sword that
glistened in the moon light. "A deal is a deal, and the paper may be
ripped, but the deed is still holding strong. you will rescue my mercenaries at
once. just let me park this in the mission aria!" With a swing of his
blade-tail, the propellers snapped and soared off as the ship fell like a rock
"good luck on your quest!" for the second time, the dragon left the
ship, going off to that weird island in the distance. "***!!!!"
he roared and grabbing onto the ship to stable himself he whipped the apple
over at the dragon.
Gail had almost drifted off to
sleep, but he had this falling sensation. He occasionally had dreams like this
just before he woke up. But this time, the drop seemed more severe, and of
course, he wasn’t waking up. A brief glance out the window, and he could see 2
“t” shaped objects swirling off into the bright moon.
“… oh crap!”
Gail’s mind scrambled to think of
something, but what do you do when your on a boat several miles in the sky,
falling like a rock in the desert? It’s not like he had parachutes or anything,
his Dutchmen is suppose to be able to withstand great amounts of punishment, if
anything, the hull would drop off the propellers, not the other way around,
what could he do? Think, think…
*whoosh *
*cilibil *
Below the earthward ship, there was
a huge cluster of small robots moving around like a swarm. The robots had
little boosters and where headed right for the Dutchmen. One of these robots
probably wouldn’t even be enough to hold up a single person, but this huge mass
of them seemed to be enough to slow up the ships decent to a more reasonable
pace. “What the? Look at them all!” Akasuki pointed at them from the balcony,
still dressed in her pajamas, and of course a very thick night cap to keep her
hair all in order. The robots themselves, upon closer inspection, where shaped
like dwarves with jet packs. they had large eyes however, but they didn’t look at anything but there task at
hand. It wasn’t long before the ship was lowered onto the soft desert sand in
one piece.
“This… is wonderful, yet strange…”
The half demon got up and ran out of the captain’s quarters and onto the main
deck.
Before the robots departed, a ramp
was set in place that allowed access to the dessert floor. The little robots
then all stood in a row as a woman wearing a European
bonnet hat and a hoop
dress made an appearance. her curly brown hair bounced as her crystal pumps
made contact with the steel ramp. “My my, it’s a bit late for a midnight stroll
isn’t it?” the woman kept her eyes closed the entire time, and her face always
an up beat smile. You could say see seemed somewhat like a robot herself, pale
skin, and a body that didn’t belong to an athlete, nor did it belong to a couch
potato.
“Hey, anyone else here? I’d like you all topside on the
double!” Gail put away his mic and waited for everyone.
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
-"...Gail was sooooo embarassed that Christmas, ha ha ha. Oh, oh! and I haven´t told you the best part yet!"- Midori spoke with faintly blushed cheeks as she held on to a bottle of fine mead, another one laying empty close to her by the floor along with a shattered plate and a rolled over glass. Wolf had already passed away about half an hour before , drowsing off into a deep slumber as he snored and rested lazily on the floorboards. Even so, Midori had kept talking as she swayed slightly from side to side -"But first, please excuse me, I must use the restroom."- Standing up, the former silvermyth made her way to the corridor from her quarters in the lower deck. She could barely stand straight as she held on to the walls at either side to find support. Suddenly, there was a slight rumbling through the Dutchman´s whole structure before the ship plummeted down, which made her stumble as a feeling of vertigo took over. -"Wha...? Augh, a hangover already? But I haven´t even finished the second bottle yet!"- Eventually, the falling sensation stopped and the war gallion found itself safe on land. “Hey, anyone else here? I’d like you all topside on the double!” Gails voice resounded through the lower decks like a ghastly call from beyond as Midori stood up with some difficulty. -"´Issat Gail? Gail!"- she called out heavily drunk as she dusted off her clothes and walked casually towards the outside. The cold night air only made her dizzier as a desert breeze brushed her face gently. -"This is just going to be one of those days..."- she said groggily, doing her best to pass off as sober.
"woah, one hell of as ride huh?, wonder what caused it, it must have been Gails fault!, yea, EVERY ONE BLAME GAIL!!!" he pointed acuseingly, and all too quickly, looking around, to see eyes on himself he lowered his finger. "heh....just eh.....checking every one;s loyalty thats all!"
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
- "Good luck, Sieg. I hope everything turns out for the best...." - The blond Silvermyth's words struck a sad, nostalgic chord within Sieg. Painful, yet joyful memories came to the forefront of Sieg's mind. The very first one was of a breathtakingly beautiful woman with long, flowing, sandy hair. But the most memorable feature was the woman's face: affectionate, azure eyes and an everlasting, elated smile that instantly calmed even the most troubled of hearts.
"Mother......." A sudden explosion of shouts and an immense falling sensation jerked Sieg from his turbulent sleep. He wearily rubbed his eyes until he could clearly see the canvas covering the barrels and crates that concealed him. Before Kiyo arrived to tell Sieg the wonderful news, the anxiety of waiting for Kiyo's answer built up until Sieg couldn't take it anymore and scurried off into a convenient crevice amongst the storage containers at the back of the ship, hiding from the terror of rejection. The young boy parted the canvas just barely enough to see though a crack. Numerous guild members were scrambling about the ship as a loud, booming voice amplified by a mic echoed though the air. With a deep breath, Sieg snatched his linen rucksack and gathered up his courage. "Sara...big Sis...wait for me. I won't let you down..." -------------------------------------------- <Was it wise to not tell the boy?> Kintoki whispered. "It will give him time to properly think things over. Maybe that will put a stop to his persistent nonsense." Kiyo replied as he restlessly climbed the stairs that led to the upper deck. Upon opening the door and stepping into the outside air, Kiyo found his fellow silvermyths hurrying about and assembling at the front deck. What really got his attention was the fact that the ship laid helplessly in a vast, all-encompassing desert. "Well, looks like Gail will have to explain a few things." <Shouldn't we tell Siegbert the good news?> "Good news to you, but bad news to me. That can wait for later. We must report to the front deck."
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
“I’m grateful for being saved and
all, but who are you exactly?”
The woman, still keeping her eyes
closed. “Why, I’m Mary if you must know. I just live out here by myself and my
many droids, this isn’t even half of them.” She chuckled as the droids piled
off the ship. “I wish I could say people didn’t get stranded here often, but
actually quite a few people seem to drop out of the sky in this very place. So
they usually stay in my glorious mansion while my friends repair there vessels,
it hardly takes any time at all.”
“I see, well…do you write up an
invoice or something?”
“No, that won’t be necessary Gail.
I have no intention of charging my guests for a stay in my home.”
“…Did we meet before? I don’t
recall telling you my name…”
“No, I’m just a mind reader I guess
you could say.”
“I see…”
Mary then started feeling Gail’s
face.
“Excuse me, but what are you
doing?”
“I’m blind, so this is how I can
tell how you look. My sense of touch is much stronger than that of a normal
humans, due to my blindness. Why, I can even feel you’re future!”
“Hey! What are you doing?”
The woman trusted one of her
fingers onto Gail’s forehead. The half-demon crossed his eyes to get a better
look at the individuals hand.
“Ahh… I see your quite the
adventurer, you’ve been to many places. I see you finishing your quest Gail…
but it will unravel an even bigger undertaking for you and your crew
unfortunately…”
“Creepy… but thanks…I think?”
“No problem Gail, my readings
aren’t always 100%. so if it does bother you, please forget it.”
Mary walked over to the other crew
members while Gail rubbed his forehead where she touched him. “I’m not sure I
trust this one… but I don’t think resting out here in the dessert is a good
idea either. I’ll have to sleep with one eye open”
“Oh! We have a cute little kitten
girl!”
Mary pinched
Mars’s cheeks after she felt the ears on top of her head. “A mental hospital?
That’s a pretty scary place hu? And in your future… I sense a conflict up ahead
for you. I can’t tell who the individual is, but it looks like your opposite
actually. His cruelty is of high caliber.”
Not wasting a
moment, Marry cheerfully walked over to her next victim. “My my… you’re a
little on the tipsy side aren’t you?” Midori was still a little drunk, and
could barely stand still under Mary’s hand. “Hmm, we’re a runaway hu? We’re
being chased. I see three pursuers… the least experienced one will catch you.”
“hmm, I sense a
soul that likes to be alone…” The lady approached Kiyo with her hand extended.
“… This may be hard to believe, but you actually have the potential of
befriending someone who is loved by all, but loves no one else in return. This
one too likes to be alone.”
*clank clank *
Mary turned over
and looked at Killrock, but didn’t know exactly what he was until she felt him.
“You’re a robot? Ok, I have 2 readings for you… the first is that your going to
avenge a friend, and the second one is… YOUR GOING TO ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE!”
The lady quickly
rapped her arms around Killrock and tightly hugged his cast iron body. “Uh,
ma’m? Thank you for giving everyone a…reading, but we’re all very tired, and I
don’t think anyone really wants to hear about disturbing things like this
before they go back to bed.” “Oh really…” Mary crossed her arm and put a puss
on. “Well, as long as your staying in my house, you get your fortune told.
Plain and simple. I can’t believe you’d all get rattled so easily over a silly
reading. But enough of that, let’s go to my home!”
The robots had lit
a path leading over to the mansion threw the dessert sand using there big eyes
as lights. “Ok, you can all make yourselves home. Just wipe your feet off, it’s
an European styled mansion after all. And if there’s anyone else, there not
allowed in unless I read them there fortune.”
Gail just stared
at Mary in absolute awe “This girls got some issues, but she is taking good
care of us…” The half demon picked up his mic once more and made one final call
to all aboard “Listen guys, we’ve got a place to stay, it’s going to get very
cold and this thing isn’t too safe to sleep in, so I’d advise you all come
topside immediately!”
“Those of you that
got your reading can go, just remember to wipe off your feet! All the bedrooms
are upstairs on the right, so you can’t miss them.”
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
"Oh, brilliant. Just brillant. A dhampir in the middle of the desert..." Striding into view and adjusting his hood, Victor gave a groan of annoyance and walked past Gail, stepping onto the guardrail and frontflipping off the edge of the stricken Dutchman. Landing cleanly in the soft sand, the assassin straightened up and made for the mansion, the way to the entrance lit up by the dozens of small robots knocking about. Having checked his equipment before he went topside, he thumbed the tip of Rapture's blade out of habit and strode towards the door, thankful that it was getting dark.
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
After having her fortune read to her by the strange lady, Midori couldn't help but roll her eyes and huff in annoyance. She didn't believe in fate as being a fixed, unchangeable path, and if this woman had told her that she'd be caught by a less experienced hunter, then she would just have to be careful and watch out for everyone she came across. Keeping her composure about her, the former silvermyth made her way to the mansion as best as she could. Th lights didn't help at all with her current condition and only made her dizzy and confused. *BUMP* Without noticing it, Midori had accidentally bumped into Victor, holding herself from his back to keep her balance. She breathed deeply and then closed her eyes as she bent forward to catch some fresh air. -"Sorry..."- she apologized more as a polite automatic response than a sincere apology.
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
“Oh, looks like I missed one!”
Mary trotted over to Victor, her
eyes still closed, not that the light was adequate for seeing anything but the
lighted path anyway. However, she came to a realization before even touching
the dhampir’s head. “… You’re a vampire!” The lady started to jump up and down excitedly
as she tested her instincts by placing a finger on his upper lip. “Oh yes,
those are vampire fangs all right! I bet you’re a real looker too!” Mary said
as she waved herself off with a fan she was holding. “But now… your future!”
Even the dhampir couldn’t dodge her
finger tip even if he wanted to. It
touched his head, and the lady started to speak. “…Ahhh, we like combat huh
Victor? I mean you love the shear aspect of going up against overwhelming odds
and conquering overpowering foes, that is the reward for you.”
“I see you also have a quest, you
desire a title. However, it will not be obtained by defeating the one you seek.
There is a greater force you must oppose. And I know not the outcome, but your
name will be remembered forever…”
The lady strode off, with the same amount of
infectious charm as when she came.
Epsilon hated elevators. Whether it was the total lack of control, the claustrophobic space, or the heart in your throat feeling when the infernal contraption dived for the ground he did not know. They followed them into his dreams. On the ship Epsilon dreamt. He dreamt of elevators. Can you imagine, dear reader how Epsilon felt when he awoke, dazed, screaming from one of his elevator dreams only to find that the ship he was on had become that elevator…
Epsilon recoiled and violently shook his head. ”Here it is” he thought “ The end”. Somewhere he heard the old man laugh a hollow laugh. The sickening feeling of his gut reaching up to his throat nearly made him retch. And still they fell. He clawed his way to the porthole and glanced outside. A raging heat came over him and he broke out into a nauseous sweat. The desire to escape almost drove him mad. He was willing to cut himself into pieces and throw them out of the porthole if it was possible.
Epsilon knew that fear, and not the falling was the real killer here. He fought the immense desire to stand fast, frozen, unable to move…fear’s captive. With heart pounding he tore himself from the porthole and headed out on deck.
As the fresh air hit him, Epsilon thought he felt the falling slacken off and the deck press again firmly on the soles of his boots. He looked up to where the props were located and found them missing. Yeah…. Glancing around he was almost amused to see countless numbers of dwarf robots robustly clinging to portions of the ship and gently bringing it to the ground. He could not believe what he was seeing, but chose to believe it , as the alternative was grim.
Gently, like a mother lowering her baby to the crib, the dwarf robots set the vessel down. A short time later, a crowd formed along the port bow. Glancing below Epsilon saw a figure making ready to board the ship. He headed off in that direction.
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
“Oh look, your all popping out of
nowhere now!”
Mary was
just as exited to see epsilon as she was Gail, or any other member of the crew
for that matter. Well, perhaps “see” isn’t the right word being that we’re
dealing with a blind lady. She did have a knack for telling everyone apart
however. Perhaps it was the sound of there steps? The sound of there breathing?
“This will
just take a moment darling!”
Mary wasted
no time reading Epsilon, she did want to go inside before all the nasty,
nocturnal things came about.
“You…
Epsilon… you’re a mysterious fellow aren’t you? Nobody really knows who you
are, yet you are able to read others like an open book. How sad, you’ll never
make any friends that way, you’ll just be a collector of secrets...”
Mary was about
to walk away, when she suddenly redirected her finger back onto Epsilon’s head,
as if she forgot to read something. “But it looks like you do have a friend
Epsilon! And you’ll meet them on this journey. Only, as I said before, this one
may not know you… you collector of secrets…hiding everything…”
The lady
didn’t withdraw with her normal cheeriness that she usually had. she seemed
almost sad. “Well, I guess I’ll be headed inside now…” “Wait! There are wounded
aboard!” Gail yelled at her. “oh, well I’ll send up some guards to bring them
inside. I can read them there…”
Mary strode off the ship and in the
direction of the mansion. “Well don’t dilly dally! Come quickly!”
“… does she realize it’s 2 o’clock?”
Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
In the lonely and almost deserted grounds of the quiet Silvermyth building, Natasha looked around. Nobody was in sight. "I thought this place is made to train weirdos."she said. Walking through the empty void ground she saw a bundle of silver quivers, and a large yet beautiful silver bow, but no string. Without any guilty conscience at mind she took it all back to her room.
