Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
D and Afonos gazed at Nate attentively as this last one approached the both of them with a slight carefree smile. -"You boys aren´t continuing? That´s such a shame. I was beginning to get a kick out of it."- D closed his eyes and slid the keys he held in each hand onto the tattoos on both his forearms. -"You must be Nate."- D exclaimed impassive before sliding both his sleeves forward; the keys had disappeared. -"Oh, heard about me from Gail, eh?"- remarked Nate with a smirk. -"Not really. Gail doesn´t talk to me about nobodies."- the slacker Silvermyth merely replied before walking away with a faintly annoyed expression. Nate scratched his forehead with his index finger as he gazed at D in the distance with a musing semblant. -"D may not appear like it, but he´s actually a much better student than I am, even if his grades are mediocre. That´s why he knows a great deal about all the classes and teachers within the guild."- stated Afonos as he placed a towel over his shoulders, holding to an end with each hand. Nate merely smiled and began to walk away.
-"I better get going. Ray´s gonna want to know why there´s a 24 feet ratio hole within his training facility."- stated Nate as he, too, took his leave, waving his hand at Afonos over his shoulder as he did. ~~~~~~~ -"This will be your new home, so please, make yourself comfortable around here, ´kay D?"- kindly spoke a blonde beautiful, green-eyed young woman as she toured an eight year old D through the guild facilities. Crossing through one of the hallways towards the dormitories, D was able to see some kids playing ball outside. A bright smile was drawn on his face at such a sight before he tugged from the lady´s white and green dress, pointing in the direction of the playground eagerly. -"Sure, go ahead."- she replied with a motherly tone of voice and a warm smile. D hurried outside and approached the other kids. As he walked by, many of the girls playing with dolls gave him a blunt glare, seeing as how his appearance was far from immaculate and the usual. The other boys ceased their ball match and gazed at D once he approached them with a shy wave of his hand and a slight smile. -"H...hi. Can I play with you?"- The kids exchanged glances between themselves before one of them spoke. -"Eh...urm...sure! But you´ll have to wait ´til the next round starts, since we´re complete for now."- -"Oh, okay!"- replied D with a growing smile on his face as he sat by the sidelines and waited...and waited...and waited. Soon, the sun was beginning o set in the distance, and the boys concluded their match as they readied to head back to their quarters. -"So, is the next round going to start yet?"- inquired D as he approached the boy who´d spoken to him. -"Eh, well, you see, we´re kinda tired already. But I promise tomorrow you can play."- -"Oh, okay!"- replied D as he too began to head back to the dormitories... The next day came, and the next one after that. There was always something up, some type of excuse that excluded D from the other kids´ activities and made him wait by the sidelines. He waited and waited, that´s all he ever did. Taking notice of this, D approached the other boys one day... -"G...guys. I was wondering, maybe one of you could rest today so I could play, you know? P...please?"- he inquired shyly. The other kids exchanged glances and some of them even rolled their eyes. -"Eh...urm...well, you see..."- -"We don´t like you."- interrupted one of the other boys, blunt and straight to the point. D was taken aback a little bit by this as he deviated his eyes away from their stares. -"W...why not?"- he asked in a barely audible tone of voice. -"Because you´re weird, you don´t fit here. Everyone in the guild will one day become mighty warriors, and you don´t look like a mighty warrior at all."- The boys, and even the girls, then dispersed and stepped away from D, leaving him all by himself in the playground as the sun began to set. He fixed his stare down on the grass before approaching the ball and kneeling down to grab it. He held on to it with care and then hugged it. ~WEEKS LATER~ All the kids sat at their respective benches as Nate handed their grades to each one of them. As soon as D recieved his, a wide beaming smile was drawn on his face. After class, he rushed to meet with the other boys. Approaching quickly, D waved affably at them and pointed towards his grades. -"See! Top of the class at everything! I can be a mighty warrior too!"- The other kids simply gazed at him with disgust and disapproval. -"So, can I play now?"- pleaded D excitedly. -"Get lost, dork!"- -"Yeah! Back to your leash, teacher´s pet!"- All the other boys mocked and laughed at D as they then turned their backs on him and walked away. Left alone and bewildered, D let his grades fall on the ground before the wind blew them away; both hands within his pockets, he hunched over, disappointed, and tread slowly back to his room. ~~~~~~~ *SWWWOOOOSH* A soft breeze blew by as if swayed D´s hair gently. He now stood atop one of the highest towers in the guild, which overlooked the whole place and its surroundings. His eyes were fixed lazily on the distant mountains as he then leaned down forward onto the edge with both arms crossed under his chin. -"A mighty warrior..."- he murmured to himself before closing his eyes calmly and at peace -"Bull$hit."-

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
"Where?" came the incredibly loud, and incredibly almoast heroic/energetic voice of the Android just behind D. it was amazeing how his metal feet made no noise on the floor "I do not see or smell any kind of Bull poo any where?" setting his hand over the lights of his eyes he scanned the Vacinity. and soon two britghter orbs shifted to D's location, acting as the droids eyes. it was obvious he only caught the last part to D's murmur. and before D could respond to his first question, the android wisely spoke up. "Whatcha doin?" Killrock had a smaller Beholder tucked uner his arm., its one eye closed as it was dead. aparently his thret to one of the beholders from before was going to become a frightning reality.

D wasn´t in the least surprised with Killrock´s sudden apparition. In fact, more than astounding him, it annoyed him. -"Killbot, don´t you have somewhere else to go, somewhere else to be that is, perhaps, not here?"- inquired D without even bothering to turn around and face the android. D also knew that the hucast´s name was actually Killrock, yet he´d always called him Killbot for some reason.

"hm?, oh, nonono" he patted D on the shoulder. The android had yet to learn about persinal space. "Im just going to hang this here Beholder on my wall!" he held it by three tenticles above its head, dropping it right infront of his face. "see?" he pulled it away and back under his arm. "Say, D ol buddy ol pall ol friend I saw you and Alfy just as I was training, how did your little sparing game go?, or were you rudely interupted by thease little bastards!" he almoast crushed the thing between his arms. "Actually..." the Robot looked aside. "I do have one thing to do, Do you know the Directions to Ray's office? I have the moast intresting thing to tel him!". pauseing he already spotted a mini map. "Never mind" he was on his way away from D. "oh, and D, when you have a moment I need to speak to you " the Android was already walking off, "Il see you then". and so finally, Killrock was out of D's hair. and walkign off to find Ray.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Epsilon, with the sound of
approaching demons bearing down on him, knew he had to find an out. He spotted
a double door down the hall and started for it. An individual with flaming orange hair and black coveralls came
storming through them. He recognized
him as one of the people who stood near O’l Ray when he gave his little speech.
Epsilon sensed a feeling of disgust emitting from him. He sensed an
opportunity.
As soon as Orange Hair rounded the
corner and was out of sight, Epsilon fell upon the double doors and quietly
made his way inside. There behind a sturdy oak desk stood Ray. It was obvious
to Epsilon that Ray was deep in thought and somewhat troubled. He would have to
choose his words carefully.
“You have quite a mess out there.”
Epsilon started.
Ray looked up
at him. Epsilon continued. “Sometimes
the best laid plans go astray.” Then he
added. “But sometimes at all works out for the best.”
Ray looked back down at his paper
work and continued writing. "You couldn't be more right, but plans take
time to set up, so we are often disappointed if the outcome is less than our
original expectations." Ray's pen seemed to run out of ink. He hurled it
into a trash bin and pulled out another one, still not looking at epsilon.
"Now, why are you here?"
"Actually:" Epsilon
started. "I was trying to avoid some of your, ah, unwelcome guests. As to
why I am here I think
You would
know the answer to that better than me.
After all this is your party. But, I may be useful to you. That individual who just left here, He did
not look too happy.
"You are here to help bring
down demons, that's what we're all here for." Ray's pen snapped this time,
but it would seem that his work would have to wait 'till the man that stood before
him quit badgering him. " Gail was indeed not happy leaving this room. I
think it was a combination of him unwillingly teaming with Akasuki, and my not
heading such a task, but only he knows. But enough about him…” Ray folded his
hands together "How can you help me?"
"That depends" Epsilon
began." My ability to help will be directly related to your ability to be
honest with yourself. I am not a leader...nor a follower. But I’ve been told that
I have an ability to see things from a different point of view." Epsilon
stepped back to the door and peaked outside. The coast was clear.
“So, what your saying is you’d like
to know more about me.” “More about what’s going on.” Epsilon corrected. “Well,
I’m in the need of a second opinion, so I suppose your right. You can help me,
please take a seat.” Extending his hand, a chair slid out from the corner of
the room and scootched in behind Epsilon.
“I won’t bother repeating what’s
been said this morning, but I will say that Gail is upset with me over not
coming with you. He’s not mad because I’m not coming with him however, he’s mad
that I’m not facing my fear.” “Your fear?” Epsilon questioned. “Yes, he thinks
the reason I’m not going on this mission is because ‘it’ killed my wife. She
was very beautiful and charming, I’m sure you’d all love her. But ‘it’ killed
her after befriending me, I had been betrayed by my only friend, I think that’s
what sparked my hate for demons, and created this organization your all part of
now.” Ray picked up another pen, figuring Epsilon was satisfied. “What is ‘it’?”
looking up at Epsilon, Ray continued to speak. “ ‘It’ is Storm Crow, he’s one
of the demons you’ll be fighting, he’s rather dastardly, smart, and strong.
Only my powers, and that of his older brother compare to his.” “…And how strong
are those things outside compared to him?” Ray’s head jerked up, as if someone
had tugged his head.”What things outside?” With that, the vampire stood up and
swung his claymore over Epsilon’s head, killing a beholder. “As interesting as
this chat is, I must go take care of things, but know that you have scored highest
on today’s test. Well done.” The vampire stepped past Epsilon and left his
office.
“WHAT IN GOD’S NAME!?!?!” Ray was
absolutely torn at the site. His guild was a mess! Corpses where everywhere,
and people where still fighting beholders. “Did anyone think to close the
vent!?” using his telekinetic powers, the vampire lifted the safety screen and
slid it into place, sealing out the remaining creatures. “Now to deal with the
rest of the mongrels…” Still gripping the claymore, he channeled his power into
it and shoved it into the ground. The energy inside his claymore raced threw
the floor in the form of an endless nova. When a beholder was over the nova, a
sharp spike made out of pure energy would shoot up and gore the creature to
death. The nova continued until there was not a single beholder left.
“…Silvermyths… Get you’re a$$es over
here…”
There was not a single conscious
member that didn’t heed Ray’s call. “It’s good to see that you have all been able
to hold back this attack on the guild…” The vampire looked around at the
destroyed landscape. “You seem to have forgotten one important thing however,
it is our job to protect the needy, not just slay the foul, and from what I’ve
seen, you’re only good at doing the latter. But riddle me this Silvermyths, my
children, what good does fighting do with nothing to protect?” Nobody dared
answer Ray’s riddle with a smart remark. Everyone was well aware he could take
on any 2 guild members with just his fists, the claymore made him nearly unstoppable. “You all need to learn that it’s not all
about killing, without something to protect, you’re just as bad as these!” Ray
pointed at an unlucky beholder that some android had decorated the wall with. “
Without values, your all just like demons. Remember what you’re fighting for…”
“Now,
seeing as you all survived, you may go with Gail and Akasuki, there just beyond
that corridor.” With that, the door at the end of a long corridor opened up,
revealing a huge wooden ship with propellers atop it. “Hey guys!” Gail yelled
from the ship. “Anybody wanna ride with me and save the world?” “You will receive
further instructions once your all a bored. It’s a long trip so be sure to
bring some reading material.” Ray chuckled as he walked back to his office, but
not before winking at Epsilon as he passed him.
"oooOOooh Ray!" the
Android pushed past every one. As if completely ignoring Ray's lecture. "I
have something to tell you!, I was in the Fighting Arena, and there was this
white flash, and then there was this Bizarre half Meat bag half gorgon that
greeted me. We had a short chat. But nothing too much, he was gone when the
flash was over!” before listonging to Ray, he hurried off to get what he
needed.
Ray simply stared in the androids direction.
"I've become unusually popular with the recruits this week." The
vampire then disappeared into his office, not sure what the android was trying
to say.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Leaning up against one of the airships railings Might says, "Looks like that last battle achieved nothing for me they might even think lower of me then before after seeing how i fight." says Might with a sigh. Are you saying you're ashamed of your heritage or of the fighting style that your father taught. look i might not of agreed with your decision to join these people but they aren't pushing you away your the one pushing them away. Smiling a little, "If i didn't know any better I'd say you're fond of this group what made you change your mind? huh Raizen?" I don't like these people but this place could be a home for you where you could possibly be accepted for once, but in order for you to see this as a home you'll have to open up a little and most of all survive and make sure they survive. "You're getting soft in your old age Rai." This is what i get for trying to make you feel beter and anyways you're as old as I am you're my other half for crying out loud! "After my rebirth and exile I pretty much had to change my views on the human race, which helped me realize that no matter how hard i try I'm not that different from them in the first place. As i look around i could probably point out some people who will always hate me for this demon blood that runs through my veins." Just ignore those who will hate you for who you are. "I don't even act or look like a demon anymore I'd rather die then prey on the weak! It's really gonna suck with one of the higher ups here poised to shove a sword through my chest for being a demon but I believe that I can coexist even with her I'll just have to build some trust." That a boy you're sounding like the old man now. "Father." says Might with a few tears falling down his face. "What am i doing demons don't cry." Anyone can cry when they lose a loved one. "I have no right to cry when i was the one who killed him." You lost control in order to protect Patty It's my fault since i had more control at the time then you did. then if you're going to hate anyone then hate me. "I couldn't blame you that was the first time i heard you voice. And anyways that was another lifetime." Thanks and this time i won't lose control. "Here's hoping i never get pushed that far, but i won't allow these people to die."

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Vic pulled his hood over his head to shield his pale face from the sunlight. Like everyone else, he'd heard Ray's call and rushed out to see what was going on. Ray had managed to stop the horde of beholders single-handed and was somewhat annoyed with the inefficiency of his Silvermyths. Keeping his robe tight around his body, Victor planted his hands on the railing and viewed the landscape, exhaling deeply. He'd officially accepted the mission. He was on board the ship, off to hunt down the brothers of the Black Calamity, and the thought of this victory exhilirated him. However, the bounty was not what interested him. The prospect of slaying one of the brothers - especially Storm Crow, the unbeatable four-armed warrior - was what excited the dhampir.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
"Good. I just gotta drop this girl off and then it's mission time..." During the guild master's lecture, Kiyo noticed some random guild members staring at him. Or rather, they stared at the blood-soaked girl he loosely carried over his shoulder. After Silvermyth finished, Kiyo ran off to the nearest medical bay, eager to start his mission. It wasn't long before he found an office that had a medical sign above it. Upon entry, he looked around to find that no one else was in the office. He slipped into a side room and found a row of hospital beds lining the wall. Kiyo quickly moved toward a bed and soundly dumped the unconscious shrine maiden onto it. "Done and done...." he said, dusting off his hands and turning to leave. "Alright, Sensei. Can I move on now?" But it wasn't Kintoki who answered him. "Please....wait....don't leave yet...." whispered a weak voice. Kiyo suddenly felt a light tug on the back of his tunic. He turned and found the maiden awake and feebly tugging at his tunic. Kiyo quietly scoffed in amusement as he brushed off the girl's hand. "You shouldn't move around so much, Miss Shrine Maiden. I don't really specialize in healing others, so you might just reopen your wounds if you keep moving around like that. And if you do, I'm not helping you again. I just can't spare the scrolls and I've already spent a lot of mana." Kiyo said in a cold, yet civilized tone. "Kiyo. Do you even consider yourself a gentleman?" nagged Kintoki. "I'm a man. But I'm sure as hell not gentle." Kiyo replied. "Kiyoshi, you shall treat this shrine maiden with respect or-" Kintoki started. "It's alright. I understand that he has an important mission right now. I just wish for him to take this..." said the maiden in a soft, kindly voice. The girl then reached into her kimono and retrieved a necklace that had what appeared to be a triangular emerald crystal as its pendant. "She could hear me? Then she must be a betsushikime (holy priestess)." "Ok. I don't see any harm in taking this. Now then, I'll be taking my leave. Try not get perforated next time..." Kiyo said as he took the emerald pendant, pocketed it, and turned to leave. As he crossed the threshold, he heard a faint "Thank you" before he left. With no further need to stay, Kiyo bounded down the halls at frightening speed, rushing back to his room to gather his things. It wasn't long before he barged into his room and started to ransack his personal trunk, packing whatever was necessary into a large traveling bag. After packing away the last of the survival provisions, he put on his wargear. Reaching into his trunk, Kiyo pulled out a magnificently decorated chestplate that had expertly carved phoenix patterns etched across it. Despite its looks, the armor was surprisingly flexible and barely, if at all, hindered movement. After he strapped it on, Kiyo retrieved two masterly-crafted, crimson gauntlets that lacked fingerings for the thumb, index, and middle fingers. He put them on and then reached into his trunk again to withdraw a long black cloak and multiple belts that held Suzaku-sealed scrolls. He strapped the belts onto his arms, legs, and torso before wrapping the cloak around his shoulders, obscuring most of his body with its dark cloth. "Alright, Kintoki-Sensei. It's mission time...." Kiyo snatched his traveling bag, dashed out of the room, and hurried off to the guild ship.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
-"Yo, Gail..."- called out D as he approached the aforementioned Silvermyth with his usual hunched posture and slow lazy steps. He also carried a small sack full of stuff over his shoulder. Gail then turned towards D, his schyths folded up beside the cracker barrel he was sitting on. "Ey D! looks like you came prepared! You got a hooker in there or is it reading material this time?" Gail liked to joke with D, after all, he was of the age where most boys were interested in that sort of thing. D merely glared at Gail, slightly annoyed, and replied impassive. -"Sure. Just following your example..."- He then pointed towards Akasuki with a brief glance. "Ah, you were never much for my humor, were you? You should get a girl someday. I have one, of course she's not the slice-you-up-for-looking-at-my-hair-wrong type." Gail said eyeing Akasuki, who pretended she couldn't hear him. -"Gail, I've been meaning to talk with you about the mission."- spoke D as he left his bag on the floor and leaned forward onto the railing of the ship with both arms crossed under his chin. -"Why now? After all these years, why go after the Black Calamity at a time like this?"- D inquired, surveying the ship with his eyes as he looked at each of his classmates and companions aboard. "They only come once every 600 years, D. This is the first time they will all come at the same time. It's not our choice to just jump in there when we're good and ready, it's their choice!" The half-demon stood up. " And I know they’re going to wait until they’re good and ready, that's why the first thing we're going to do is get some help. If they launch a mass attack, we'll need more than the guild." D remained silent for a while. -"I don't see Ray anywhere on the ship..."- he finally remarked, shifting his attention towards the sky overhead. "I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but Ray's a coward." "He is not!" the samuri turned towards Gail. "Oh really? I guess you still have teacher's pet syndrome. Don't worry, though, you don't have to suck up to Ray anymore." Akasuki bit her lip. She wasn't going to fight with the half-demon this time. "In all honesty, I don't think he's a coward." "Tell me this Akasuki, if somebody killed your lover, would you try to avenge them, or just sit back and hope the one responsible is eventually slain?" "I...I don't know." "Well, I killed Divagro to prevent my girl's demise, and I gotta say, that bit of preventive maitenance really works!" -"You took out Divagro all by yourself?"- questioned D without taking his eyes off a cloud hovering up high. "Single handedly, yes, but it won't be that easy this time. He's grown in power, and he had the wrong shards of the Black Calamity within him. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't easy to kill. I wouldn't be suprised if I couldn't take him down now; if all of us could take him down, then I'd be suprised." Akasuki was starting to look depressed. "Well, I'll leave you two alone, I'll get everything ready." With that, the samurai walked away. D stared at her as she took her leave and waited until she was far enough. -"Gail, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I think most of the people aboard this ship are nothing but a bunch of pretentious fools. Most of them can't even fathom the true extent of the brotherhood's power at its best and only see this as another exciting adventure. They're overconfident and don’t realize that some of them may never see the guild ever again..."- D then glared at Gail in a way this last one had never seen before. -"To put it simple, Gail, I think Ray and you screwed up by sending undergraduate voluntaries instead of experienced teachers and warriors."- Gail's face no longer carried a smile. He approached D and stared down at him. "It was not my choice; the guild’s lieutenants are all out dispatching other evils, we will likely group with some of them later. But the teachers? Don't make me laugh! They’re all afraid of a real fight. I could have become one, but I chose to do this instead, go on suicide missions so that our loved ones could remain safe. But, I do agree. Most of them have no idea what we're up against, because if they did, they would have walked out of that theather too." The half-demon looked around and then back at D. "Are you afraid? Is there nothing in this world you'd like to protect?" D kept glaring at Gail as he then straightened up and abandoned his hunched posture. -"The only reason I'm on this mission is because you taught me never back off on my word. Even if I volunteered by accident, I can't turn back now. You are the closest thing I've had to family, Gail, and you know that even though I don't like any of the people at the guild, they're still my comrades. I'm not here because of who I am as D; I'm here, because of who I am as a Silvermyth."- Gail couldn't help but grin at D. "Relax kid, I may be arrogant, but I know my way around Kabrakia. We're not going to fight them head on. Isk and Ray aren't the only strategists in the guild, you know." Suddenly, Afonos closed in on them with a briefcase in hand. He was dressed with his usual fashionable and elegant outfit. -"Hi guys."- he greeted as he patted D's shoulder, who in turn hunched again and shifted his apathetic gaze to Afonos's fanclub, which cheered at him from the 'dock' with signs. "What the hell is this?" Gail grabbed Afonos's sleeve. "What? Are you on a date or something?" Akasuki, walking back onto the ship, shook her head. "Uhh, your wearing overalls, are you a mechanic?" "I suppose not, but I do intend to get very...very dirty where I'm going." Grinning, he turned his gaze back to Afonos, who alternated his stare between Akasuki and Gail as D remained over the railing with both arms crossed under his chin once again. -"Oh, you don't have to worry. I spoke to headmaster Ray about it. These clothes are made of a special fabric able to endure harsh conditions, just like the headmaster's own suit."- Afonos explained before fixing his gaze on Akasuki and smiling kindly -"And you must be Miss Akasuki. Pleased to meet you, my name is Afonos."- Akasuki returned his smile with a handshake. " Just Akasuki, actually. Nice to meet you. I didn't see you in the theater today, what are you doing here?" Afonos glanced briefly at D and then back at her. -"Well, originally I wasn't interested on the mission, so I left the theatre along with most of the students. But once I discovered D was amongst the volunteers, I realized I had to keep a close eye on him. You know, so he doesn't get killed or anything like that."- D huffed at Afonos’s comment, but still didn't turn to look at any of them. "It's nice to see he has at least one friend, he was just saying how..." Gail grabbed Akasuki from behind, putting one hand over her mouth. "She and I like playing this game, you grab the other person mid-sentence and then drag them off, it's an elite training exercise." Gail then walked away, dragging Akasuki with him. Afonos scratched his head.
-“Well, I guess I should better find us a place where we can sleep and leave our luggage...”- he spoke as D remained unamused before replying uninterested. -“Yeah, you do that...”-

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
<So who are you going to go with then?> Naol asked Tobias after Silvermyth had finished his speech. <We should probobly go to-> "Quiet." Tobias said, cutting Naol off. He had noticed strait off that Kyo was carying a bloody girl on his shoulders. He had already been curious about him, but now he was intent on knowing more; but more then that, he was curious about the anger that seemed to be eminating from his ring. He waited untill he had left, then began to follow him. He followed him until they got to the infermary, then watched from outside of the door, throwing up several masking spells as he did so, just to be safe. He watched him while he first layed her down on the hospital bed, then jumped at the raw power that the ring started to throw out as it glowed. He was about to leave, when he saw the girl hand him a necklace, and new that he had to know more about this Kyo. He just barely had time to hide himself as Kyo fled the room at top speed, but he seemed so intent on what his goal was, he didn't even notice Tobias. "Naol, start a tracing spell. Where ever he goes, we go." <Fine. But see to that girl before you go after him; she seems to be bleeding alot.> "Very well." He ran into the room and healed the girl as fast as he could, healing all of her injuries instead of just the large one. It took more magic to do so, but it was still faster then just concentrating on just the one injury. He took a second to catch his breath, waiting for Naol to give him the go ahead on the tracing spell. <It is ready.> He said, and with a few words, Tobias released the spell, and new exactly where he was going. Without a second thought, he ran out of the room twords Kyo, more curious then ever. | |

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
"Kiyoshi, don't stop and don't look back. We are being trailed." Kintoki quietly murmured in Kiyo's mind. "An enemy?" Kiyo mentally whispered. Without changing pace, Kiyo slowly began to focus his power. Little by little, he subtly began to flow tiny, unnoticeable amounts magic into his limbs. "I can't exactly tell. They don't seem to have hostile intent, but they're going to great lengths to mask their presence. For now, proceed to the guild ship. They won't be able to hide in the presence of all the other warriors." "Alright then....Hmmm....let's see if they can catch up...." Kiyo thought to himself. In mid-stride, Kiyo kicked off the ground and bounded forward with sudden, unexpected speed. With his destination in mind, Kiyo zigzagged through multiple hallways and side corridors, venturing through every possible indirect route until he neared the ship. When the great vessel came into view, Kiyo dashed forward and spun around, stopping just short of the entryway. He then took a deep breath to calm down and recompose his posture. With his usual cold, apathetic gaze, Kiyo crossed his arms and stared at the only door that led to the "dock," intent on discovering his tracker.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
Epsilon took one look at the wooden contraption with flimsy rotors perched atop it and questioned his own sanity. It was one thing to join this crusade to fight the rulers of the dark side, but to turn into a flaming falling leaf in an uncontrolled collision with the ground was .. Well… scary. Truth be known there was many things which Epsilon had no problem facing, evil or extreme danger. But heights.. Ohhh boy, that was another question. Years ago when apprenticing with DaVinci , he recalled his master marveling at a design drawn up from somewhere in the deep recesses of his brain. A flying machine. What Epsilon found fascinating was not that the design was literally hundreds of years ahead of its time. What was fascinating was that someone would waste an ounce of effort to visualize such a hideous machine. It was with relief that Epsilon was able to persuade his master that his talents should be diverted to painting. In either which way Epsilon knew that he would be needed. His short talk with ol’Ray convinced him of that. With a heavy heart he managed his way up the boarding ramp past many, and allowed the ship to swallow him up inside.

Re: Silvermyth Bane: Divagro Must Die (story)
"HMMMM?" Killrock poked his head up right infront of D, scaling across the Dutchman, but pausing when he heard D's voice. "D-man! There you are!" D glared at Killrock with annoyance. -"Not again..."- he muttered to himself. "I was hopeing to meet you quickly!" The android slipped right beside him and slapped him hard on the back. "Hey, I have decided I, Killrock, the famed Hucast, will help you out." Giving D another pat on the back, the Hucast knelt down and wiggled his finger for D to follow him down. Sighing, the slacker Silvermyth placed both hands in his pockets and was off on his way to meet with Killrock. -"What is it, Killbot?"- inquired D once he caught up with the android. Spinning around, Killrock set his bag down, began rummaging through it, and then grabbed onto what seemed to be a silver orb. As he brought it up, a yellow circle appeared on it and glanced at D expectantly. "D, I am going to give you a Mag." D merely rose an eyebrow confused. -"O...kay? First of all, why would you help me? And second of all...what the hell is a Mag?"- "Bw...BWAAAAA?" Killrock was obviously taken aback. "You don’t know what a mag is? Alright, but first off..." The Hucast looked around. "Sorry to say D-man, but you seem like the weakest link to me... more importantly, you’re the only one who could really take care of a Mag without abusing its purpose." The android now seemed to actually take on a serious tone. "A mag is a mechanical support being. Feeding it will make it grow, and as it grows, so will your abilities." Killrock made a slight pause and looked to the floor, his own mags floated ahead of him. "Better for you to actually experience what I mean.Try them on, D. Just... ask them to become "equipped". " -"Uh..."- D stared at the Mags as they hovered towards him -"Well, okay."- He then faced them directly and spoke. -"Um...become equipped...please?"- "Hahaha, I am sorry D" Killrock stepped over "I’ll equip them for you. You need to develop the ability to speak to them Via Subconcious, it is mutch easier for a droid, my mistake..." The Mags quickly made a formation behind D like folded wings. "There you go, you are now about twice a physiclly strong as you used to be, thirty percent more tolerant to pain, and two percent more Dexteric. Give it a try out, D... lift something you never could have" the Hucast urged on D, now appearing to be bubbling in excitement The aformentioned Silvermyth surveyed their surroundings in search for something to carry. He finally spotted a barrel of apples only the ship's crates or a really strong member of the guild could lift. He approached it and did as the Hucast instructed. The Barrel lifted with ease. It felt as if the barrel was no longer the unbearable weight it used to be. "Haha! Atta boy! But the Mag I am giving you is at level one...mine is at level two hundred and fifty." When receiving an odd look from D the android shrugged. "Think of them as a bad role playing game. Feed them and they grow stronger like you will. They eat potions for food...and Dead Photon Cells for there Photon Blast... which yours has yet to learn". D deposited the barrel back in its place gently. -"Potions? Dead Photon Cells? Where do I get all these?"- "Apples may work too, but Mana Restoration will boost the mind, Healing solutions increase Strength. and Antidotes rise dexterity. Dead photon Cells are let off whenever there is harmful energy, as if a sword of steel strikes a fire ball, those Cells will be devoured into your Mag" he pointed and then commanded the Mags back to himself, letting the sphere like Mag to go to D. "Make sure it likes what you’re feeding it, build a strong bond with your Mag, and it will work for you better....wether it is healing you or giving you a second wind when you’re down". Killrock set his hands on his hips. "You'll know what it likes by its physical reactions, don’t worry.... and don’t overfeed it..." he said in a warning. -"What will happen if I overfeed it?"- inquired D as he tapped on the hovering sphere's metallic surface with his index finger. "It will turn into a lazy fat hunk of Tin" the android laughed. "And another thing..." With D's touch, the Mag changed colors; its top turning the color of D's shirt and its bottom turning the color of D's pants. "The Mag will adjust to your style". Gathering up his bag, the Hucast extended his hand. "Anything else?Just ask the expert, eh?". D scratched his forehead lazily as he exchanged an apathetic stare with his Mag. -"Sometimes I feel like I'm just a character inside a collective Role Playing story game..."- D thought to himself.
