I totally agree wid all you guys, except for the nut that said 'don't remake it.'

I'd say, add more to the story. We still have no earthly idea what happened to Dante after he rode into hell, and the story seemed too short, so it needs to continue from that point. What did Dante go to hell for, anyway? Sightseeing? And what was with the whole pitiful Lucia story? I hate to say it, but it seems like her story line---in fact, all of it--- was created by one sappy fangirl. I'm a serious gamer who likes eye candy, not romance stories. That's why everyone loves Tomb Raider.

And hey---!!! Tomb Raider started out awesome, then sucked othe the next several games, then it was saved at about the sixth or seventh game. And just look at how TR8 is turning out!!! It's not too late for DMC2, just look at what they did with Tomb Raider Anniversary.

They should definitely bring Vergil back in the remake, if they ever do. I still think that he exists and that Dante went to hell to find him.

- He definitely needs an attitude adjustment. He doesn't even say "Jackpot" for crying out loud!

 - And isn't he supposed to be at his strongest in DMC 2? I say that DMC 2 should have the highest difficulty: Normal, Hard, Dante Must Die, Heaven or Hell, Hell and Hell, You're Going to Die Motha*&^#@: GUARANTEED! (give missions an impossible time limit with conditions of Hell and Hell mode).

 - Fix the scenery designs.

 
- Sparda could be an unlockable character. It's the least Capcom can do with the ending of the series. Oh, and Nelo Angelo, too!

 
- Most importantly, TIE UP SOME LOOSE ENDS!! The overall DMC plot has a few holes. I'd love to really know the full story.

There seems to be two arguments here one is don't change it and the other is bring it in to line with 1 and 3 and you know what, I agree with both. To bring it in to line with 1 and 3 in terms of costumes and difficulties is being at least fair. But to be honest I don't think it needed much of a change except for things like costume and difficulty, I mean it WOULD have been nice to tie up the ending but they had every right to leave us hanging. Because look at it this way if they had tied it up everyone would of been like " so that's what happens" and put it behind them but leaving it open causes us to hold on to it. I think they should of least had a lead in to the story like a receiving the mission from someone with an explanation to what was happening and the amulet thing could of worked if there was a logical reason for it, the swords I'm ify about and I could go on but everyone's got good points and what I've mentioned are just my main points.I'm just saying the story could of worked with a bit of an explanation and that taking away the costumes and the difficulty made the game un-devil may cryish that's  all.
