A NEW DAY
I see a solitary tree, full of life, and color
Birds chirping, squirrels playing, gathering food
Like a mansion that has grand allure
All is welcome here for fun, joy and for staring at the sky
All the animals can just sit here as they watch the cars go by
Ignoring those mechanical sounds, they speak of nothing
Just watching those funny looking animals, so boring
Bouncing from brown to yellow and amber leaves
Watching the sky turn from blue to a vibrant yellow
Watching the sun slowly go down, the animals grieve
The moon is out, stars to, as they glow a vibrant gray
Soon the animals will make their beds and nests
To nestle close together for warmth as they lay
Waiting for the sun to come up, to bounce around and drink honey dew
For tomorrow the day will start anew
The animals wake up one by one, and two by two
Oh what a glorious day to start, so fresh and so new
Take a deep breathe of fresh air, and smell the flowers
We have plenty of time to play for hours!!!!!!!
