why do you think  dante wasn't surprised to see yamato? Did trish find out the order had it when she was disguised as gloria. I just want to hear some theories on it

I think while Dante was investigating the Order he discovered, probably through Trish, what they were really doing along w/ Yamato. I mean you don't just crash a religious ceremony and kill the priest w/out a REALLY good reason. Plus, Trish gave his "holiness" Sparda's sword and they never even talk about that. Since the Order collects devil arms, I think Trish (Gloria) gave him the sword to win his trust.

Trish (Gloria) was in their inner circle so she knew about the research Agnus was doing; using demons from Hell for experimentation. Therefore, upon investigating further, she discovered that they were using Yamato to open the gate to Hell, which is one of it's functions.

This is all stuff we should have seen in the game. I mean they wanted to push Nero so badly but they didn't even show us how he got his arm!!!!

They have to release extra missions or a SE version. PLEASE CPACOM!!!! I NEED MORE DANTE!!!!! [:'(]

i alway thought he killed santus because he found out they were really demons but you theory makes sense to. i agree with you about the need of a SE version or they need to make DMC 5 next year instead of waiting so long this time at least after DMC 3 it wasn't so many unanswered questions about the story. why did they even think DMC 4 was a full story you cant halfway tell a story and call in complete.

Gloria obviously knew about Yamato because what other reason would she need to have trust when she could easily just bust in there with Dante and eliminate them? They were trying to figure out how; where and why they had Yamato more than likely...still find it funny how Trish gave the most powerful sword in exsistance for trust...typical blonde for you XD
