Vergil: I hate myself. Take the Force Edge and  my half of the amulet, I never deserve it in the first place.

Dante: But, brother...

Vergil: Take them now and maybe I'll even consider teaching you how to summon the Phantom Swords. No, just do it!!! I'll teach it to you anyway!!!

Dante: Whoa. Easy there.
