ken_devilman_06:THANK U Z AND COBALT (i like that name) lol. i try stressn that nero is NUTHN without VERGILS sword. But sum people r so THICK.
Your grammar skills seem pretty dumb to me if you look more closely. Nero WAS stronger with Yamato, but before hand, he had amazing strong abilities, relexes and dealt well with weaponry which normal humans couldnt do, he easily knocked down a concrete sword from the Sparda statue and fought well without his DT. Yamato merely awoken it more. If he HAS Spardas blood, then he IS a decendant somewhere in the line from Sparda not a son or direct blood-line like Dante and not too far down the line either can his relation be. Nero isnt NOTHING without Yamato, half the game you didnt even really see it that much anyway neither did i use it often.

Mentioning about that seems pretty dumb to me... Your point of view includes quite a big dose of fanboyism. Because the truth is that Nero doesn't stand a change against Dante and Vergil. If Dante would have fought back at full strength Nero would have been killed in a matter of seconds. Without Yamato the Devil Bringer is his only source of power. Yes, he is superior to a normal human thanks to that arm, but we have to remember that he was still born as a human. Gaining Sparda's blood in his veins afterwards doesn't make him a descendant. Yamato is his only way to go into Devil Trigger and that isn't even a DT of his own, it's just Vergil's soul and strength in Yamato that awakens.

How can you be born and then have Spardas blood? Your born with blood not just suddenly appear out of no where. Otherwise then Dante was never born with the blood of Sparda then developed it later on, because we dont know much of his past beyond DMC3, which doesnt fit at all, plus we dont know Neros past of his father or mother. Of course Nero doesnt stand a chance, Dante could have wiped the floor with him if needed and was toying about, his DB is a great source of power, but Nero did well even without it. Nero is in the same boat as Dante in DMC3, hes growing stronger.

The worlds greatest demon hunter isnt going to be taken down by some as young as Nero, Dante didnt even have a problem with the Saviour, he was just messing around the entire time. He could have easily just got the entire mess over with by killing Sanctus, but he rather gave the experience to Nero.

Re: Could Nero be the son of Virgil
@ Zechra and Ken: Thanks. This is just the theory that makes the most sense to me. I read somewhere that Nero encountered a dying demon before the events of DmC4. And that led to an injury. Theory here: I'm positive that was Nelo Angelo he encountered. Nelo was probably dead, but Nero had to hide the arm in a cast and claimed he was injured. Just wish I could find the source about what I read... NerosDevil: ken_devilman_06:THANK U Z AND COBALT (i like that name) lol. i try stressn that nero is NUTHN without VERGILS sword. Before the Yamato he did have strong abilities, reflexes and weapon mastery. But he had the Devil Arm before hand right? My point is the arm gave him the ability to knock a concrete sword from the statue, etc. The arm is the source of his power. Nothing more. The Yamato merely awakened the DT and in my opinion, Vergil's dormant soul. Can you specify where in the game someone was quoted as saying "Descendant of Sparda"? To inherit something means to be "given". The Sparda bloodline didnt have to be handed down during birth in this case, because Nero received the Devil Arm. So in this case, if he can "inherit" strength, reflex, speed, and weapon mastery...why not blood?

Technically no. Nero had them before the DB because the Order send him to do "dirty work" and accomplish tasks that dozens of members couldnt't do. The entire Order didnt seem surprized at his strength either or any normal person since hes obviously had it before, especially Kyrie of all people saw he was that strong before. If you played the game and remembered anything, Sanctus said to Nero: "Still i salute a man to carries the blood of Sparda while not in Dantes league, you still put more of a fight than i anticipated" He said that in a way where hes always had it. and "Unfortunatly you did not anticipate a decendant of Spardas blood and because of that you have been outwitted!" It never said "inherit" anywhere, it said "decendant" which means you were born from a line which is connected to Sparda. If the game said meant something else, they wouldnt have said "decendant" and said something like "contracted Spardas blood". Infact heres even an official Dictionary meaning: de-cen-dant 1. A person or animal that is decended from a specific ancestor; an offspring. 2. Born with specific attributes, appearance from a previous blood-linked attachment/ or timeline Sanctus would have said otherwise and the definition proves it, he was BORN with it and Sanctus knew it otherwise how would he know he was a "decendant" from Sparda at all? He never seemed surprized when Agnus told him about his power. Thats why his parents are a mystery and an orphan. It never said anywhere that Nero got it from a 'demon' or a 'dying demon' but an "accident" which could have been anything. Nelo Angelos physical body was destroyed in DMC1 and his soul departed. Dont you think that if Vergils soul was in Nero that it would be slightly p*ssed off and cause Nero pain and consume his mind, like Mundus did to Vergil? Not to mention that his arm potrays different emotions like when touched by Kyrie it glows yellow? Do you really think Vergil would allow an emotion to be expressed through his own physical maifestation within Neros arm? Nope, its all Nero but Yamato, maybe not.

Re: Could Nero be the son of Virgil
The only thing i can think of is Sparda having a fling with ANOTHER human other than Eva. But thats unlikely! So i still cant figure out how Nero fits n2 this story AT ALL.
