Did virgil have a son before he died because think about this Sparda gave his two swords to each of his sons. And Nero's arm start acting up when it came to virgils sword and the sword also so combined with his arm so did virgil have a son before he died.

Let me just clarify that Virgil is NOT gay, that would spoil his character comletely XP Second it's still not understood who Nero is in terms of Dante, Virgil and Sparda, but as far as I'm concerned Nero's devil arm is Virgil, hence why he is able to possess Yamato. I'm quite sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ^_^

As other people have already stated, the answer is plain and simple: NO.

Vergil died in Mundus's hands and his soul became Nelo Angelo. Then Nelo was defeated and Vergil's soul was released from inside of him. The soul got into the Devil Bringer and is residing there.

And I agree, Virgil's soul is what gave Nero his devil bringer. So Nero is not Virgil's son. I know that Dante said it has to stay in the family, but that could mean that he's, in a sense, giving it to Virgil, not saying that Nero's Virgil but...you know what I mean. Like I said I may be wrong, since I don't actually own the game >_> But that doesn't mean I don't know what happens in the story XP Oh and I think the only reason Nero has the trademark silver hair is exactly that, it's a trademark for all DMC heroes. If there was another reason Nero had silver hair don't ya think Dante would've said something. But Dante doesn't react to his hair, as if it was an ordinary colour. Cuz come on, can you imagine Nero with brown, black or blonde hair?

Then can u explain y his holiness in dmc4 sayed that Nero had the blood of sparda and if u notice in the other games Dante just don't let people walk away with out a good reason. The look of a demon hunter
