Different people take things differently. The death of Eva probably was not as traumatizing for Dante as it was for Vergil

I am siding with Zechra ND. Look at Dante, he slays demons because of his mother's death. Vergil chases after power because of his mother's death. They had different ways of dealing with it. I think Vergil thinks he was too weak and Dante hates demons. For instance, remember on top of Temen-Ni-Gru when Vergil and Dante were talking? Dante said "Father, I don't have a father."  I think he said that because if his resentment of demons.
