    Membership

    Membership

    - You should be a fan of Devil May Cry, Capcom, or gaming related material before registering at this site. This site is not strictly a Chat site, so don't join for general chat purposes only.

    - Please, do not jump on new members. Everyone here, even at the beginning was a “newbie," treat them like you would like to be treated. Message board bullying by online cliques or other members will NOT be tolerated here.

    - Please, do not register more than once, we see no reason for more than one account. If you register and do not receive your login information, before contacting Staff please check "Junk" boxes. You may then proceed to contact the staff. If a person is registered more than once - only the user with the most posts remain. If, however you are sharing a computer with someone, e.g. a sibling, please notify us upon registration of both of you.

    - Please do not share accounts with someone, its frowned upon here, if someone wants to post, register your own account, you get increased capabilities.

    Bashing, Slandering or otherwise Insulting

    Bashing, Slandering or otherwise Insulting

    - Do NOT start threads or make posts to bash, slander, mock, insult or demonstrate a lack of respect for Devil May Cry related things - characters, etc.

    - Do NOT start threads or make posts to bash, slander, mock, insult or demonstrate a lack of respect for other members of the forum, the staff, other websites/forums. We do not want to hear about other things that happened on other websites, we are only concerned about what happens here.

    - Do NOT discriminate against someones age, ethnic group, culture, race, skin colour, background, nationality, sexuality, weight, religious beliefs, etc.

    - All opinions should be respected and expressed maturely, without resorting to childish and immature name calling, bashing, rudeness, etc.

    Graphics

    Graphics

    Banners/Signatures

    - The size above entails any images (if more than one it still has to fit within) and any text, large boxes of text that you have to scroll down can be just as annoying.

    - The maximum signature hosted file must not exceed 500KB.

For example, you can have a 600x250 signature and have a few lines of text as long as it still fits within the allotted space of 600x300.

    - No Pornography.

    Avatars/Icons

    - The Hosted file for the avatar must be no larger than 200KB considering the 100x100 limit.

    - No flashing images that people with Epilepsy may suffer from.

    - If you are unsure how to resize your graphic, check this site.

    - Your avatar can not include any images that may offend, discriminate or otherwise insult a group of people.

    - No Pornography.

The Staff reserve the rights to remove any images that violate any terms or rules. You will have a Private Message notifying you if we removed your graphic.

    Banning

    Banning

    - Once you're banned, you're banned as far as we are concerned. If you find a way to sneak back on the boards, your IP Address will be banned. If you keep it up, your email will get banned.

    - Do NOT contact the Administrators regarding your ban, doing so will not get you back on the board. Most emails about bans go unread and deleted. Chances are very slim that they will be read.

    - Do NOT try to impersonate Capcom® Staff, if they had anything to say about the site it would be via email, and not on the boards.

    Posting

    Posting

    - When posting, please try to post in the appropriate section. If, however you are unsure on where to post the topic; post it in the General Chat area, then we the Moderators and Administrators can decide where it goes from there. Upon us moving it, you will probably recieve a notifiction stated as to where it has been moved.

    - Please try to remain as on topic as possible.

    - Do NOT try to bypass the censor implemented on this website, it was put there for a reason and bypassing it by starring out characters yourself will not be tolerated. We have minors here on the board and they don't need to see the language.

    - Do NOT open a thread to initially advertise your site, or another persons site. This is frowned upon because we've worked hard to build a community and for you to steal members, or attempt to is disrespectful. You are also not permitted to advertise something in the post. You may openly advertise in your signature, three links only though. And don't change the font size, keep it as standard when advertising in your signature.

    - Do NOT post in ALL CAPITALS like this, or PosT LIkE ThIS, it is not cool. Doing so gives people headaches and most will bypass posts written like this, in most cases both will happen.

    - Please respect that people may not be fluent in English - this could be due to them coming from a different country where English is not their mother language or other circumstances. If you do not understand what a person is trying to say, you may then question them, however, please don't pick on everything they mis-spell.

    - Keep personal discussions to yourself, this is a message board; we don't want to read some personal problems and discuss the happenings of someone's life on here either. If you wish to do it, and someone agrees to it, please use Private Messaging system or such forms of instant messaging; AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Skype, etc. If any said threads are created, they will be locked/deleted.

    - Blatant "Post whoring" is unacceptable, no one thinks less of you if you've got 50 posts or 5000 posts. We are all equal. The staff reserve the rights to delete any content off the board and it is at our discretion to do so.

    - We reserve the right to Lock, Move, Delete, Split or edit any posts we see fit at our discretion.

    - When creating a thread we ask that you please use the Search Function because chances are we already have a thread similar or the same as the one you are trying to create. It gets annoying when we have something like ten threads entailing the same discussion.

    - During the early release of any Devil May Cry game, we ask that you keep any spoilers or major game information to the stickied thread which will be at the top of the forum. People who haven't completed the game, I'm sure don't want it to be ruined on a message board.

    - Any member found to be posting non-sensical things just in a way to bump said topics will be warned. If you can't add nothing to the discussion don't post.

    - Do not post any Pornographic/Explicit images, we do have minors here and its not the kind of thing they want to see sprawled across a message board, any posting of this - will result in being banned without warning.

    - If you are unsure whether your graphic/signature/avatar is appropriate, please contact the Moderators/Administrators and ask, and we will in turn tell you if its acceptable or not to have on a message board. If we see someone using a graphic that entails anything aforementioned will in turn, be deleted off.
