O.K this code is extremely easy all you have to do is at the screen that says  new game ,load , game etc. hold down L1,L2,R1,R2 than start rotating  the left analog stick clock wise (to the right) and continue doing this all at the same time until you here ''Devil May Cry''.Keep in mind that you should only have to do so for about 5 to 10 seconds so if it takes longer you did something wrong.but when you here this just simply load your game and you will havethe following on the level select screen: shirtless Dante,DMC1 Dante,DMC1 coat less Dante,Super Dante(he has purple flames around him),and Sparda .For the modes you will have easy,normal,hard,Dante Must Die,and Heaven or Hell.This code works for both DMC3:Dante's Awakening,and the Japanese version but has not been tested for Special Edition  so keep that in mind.

can some1 asure me that this works for Devil May Cry: Dante's Awakening SE because if i try it out and it doesnt work i will be so sad [:'(]

SE requires a slightly different input. The buttons are all the same, but the difference is you don't rotate the analog sticks, you press and hold Up-Left on the control pad, and Down-Right on the right analog stick at the same time. (or the other way around if it doesn't work).

I dont know why but I cant. Dont EVER say that I did not press them hard/simultaneous enough because I actually tried this with another helpful pair of hands.

I'm definate that the cheats work on both DMC3 and SE because I've done the cheats on both games! So if anyone's having trouble with the codes I recommend that you double check by searching for the codes on the internet (I'm sure that the code is correct for DMC3, though I read that all you have to do is hold the shoulder buttons down and rotate the analogue stick, it doesn't say what direction, but it works, as for the DMC3 SE code I can't remember that ^_^;).

Take a look at www.cheatplanet.com .I have tried the code to both normal and special edition and it worked. I think that there is some difference to SE code.
