i'll have to agree on gilver with this one, it seems pretty logical seeing mundus DID break free and dante had to shut him up again

i just hope some day me may play as the great sparda in a dmc game and learn more about his story and his powers

I found evidence that sparda is alive this revolation has made me 90% sure that he's alive the first clue is in the manga it said that he dissapeared (as I've stated before)  and in the second novel in the mirror world the said that sparda was betryed by humans and sacrificed to mundus. also second in the second novel Chen said that he cloned sparda and used his Genetics to add to his own and the thrid was also in the second book when chen said that he had his researchers combed the text of the scrool or book for hidden text and it didn't say were sparda was buired.

i think sparda lost to mundus the second time arround because he was lacking his sword. in the game, if you try to switch weapons when fighting mundus, it says that the sparda sword is the only thing powerful enough to deal damage to him. well, if sparda sealed that away to seal the rest of hell, im guessing he'd have a hard time fighting mundus.

The novels aren't canon...the 2nd one even more so because its going along with the second game, right?

Ignore it.

But the first one is still darn good, and parts of it can be CONSIDERED canon.
