Rebellion,and Yamato were handed down 2 Dante and Vergil by Sparda. But Force edge is Spardas sword. it wuz left n hell remember. Arhkam got it and got beat down by Dante and Vergil. and as u know Vergil and Dante fite 4 it. And we all know who wins.

Yes, Rebellion and Yamato were given to Dante and Vergil by Sparda. Force Edge is Sparda's own sword which he used to seal the gate to the demon world. After the events of DMC3 Dante used Force Edge as his weapon, but switched back to Rebellion after leaving Sparda sword (Force Edge's true form) to Trish after the events of DMC1.

if only you could use armor and weapon combinations like alastor and ifrit could be used together or something like that, then it would just be amazing. like, you could choose what attacks would be bound to which movements.

Good question. Why are Dante's other weapons never seen in other games? Take DMC3, for example. The only time you see a weapon other than Rebellion or Ebony and Ivory appear in a cutscene other than the one in which Dante acquires it (if that made any sense o_O) is the end cutscene of Mission 14, in which he uses Cerberus to pull himself towards Lady's bike.

dunno, guess he left them behind other than the few he could carry. cause nevan is too bulky to fight with when you're really using rebellion.
