Even if that was the case, Nero would never have gotten into the Order of the Sword. The very reason he keeps the Devil Bringer in a sling around the rest of the Order is that he is afraid that if it is seen by another member, they will consider him to be a demon and hunt him down.

Here's what I wanna know, though: how did Yamato get broken and how did the Order manage to obtain it?

The way Kira asks Nero about his arm, I would think that it was he who confronted Nelo (nero) Angelo, and killed it... >_> that would exsplain how they got the Yamoto , and vergil is in his arm well...his soul... I havent played the game, a friend was just showing me some cut-scenes, and had there own opinion on Nero... wich il let them exspress on here =p.

any way, Seeing as the first two games really didnt have vergil (lets face it... there was no real dialog between Nelo and Dante in DMC1, he was just a cool guy to fight >>) I dont see why the others will fail without Vergil...even if I am a fan of the half devil >> (name kinda gave that away)

You people aren't the only ones who feel a little cheated. However I have had my theories since day one that I saw the DMC4 trailer. Nero is his own person and all but, I found it all TOO convenient how he was acting. After all he got possessed ...and what it especially became apparent after getting a hold of Yamato. So I believe it is safe to say Vergil did take possession of Nero. I mean after all Yamato was his sword, and Nelo Angelo didn't 'die' I believe. Devils don't just blow up and all o_O;. I think he faded away but his soul stuck into the sword. Poor Nero XD.

Consider this: wouldn't you expect Nero to have Vergil's behaviour somehow if Vergil does posess Nero's arm?

Nero isn't exactly the cold-hearted, arrogant *** on an eternal quest for power

"Power...give me more power." was Vergil's behavior ringing in Nero's head. So Vergil doesnt have total control of him yet. But with this quote, and the DT maybe we will see a gradual complete takeover by Vergil.

Similar to MGS with Liquid gradually taking over Revolver Ocelot. It starts out small and leads to nearly complete control.

with the way capcom is handling stuff i bet they won't explain the DB in anyway that we expect or hope. I just hope that they will announce a DMC 4 SE like with what the did with all the complaints about DMC 3
