well i have some thought's lately about nero's arm, on the part that nero says that a demon posessed his arm, what if this demon is nelo angelo a.k.a vergil, i got my suspicions on the voices that nero was hearing

    "i want more power....more power"

vergil was obsesed on the seeking of power!!!

    doesn't make any sence?????Hmm

this vergil in nero's arm idea is getting to be a good possiblity as more and more info comes in. now that "vergil a.k.a. nelo angelo" (not the other way around ok) is confirmed to be in DMC4.

But sorry to say @hustla this is aready "very old" ideas. see this thread: http://sonsofsparda.com/forums/thread/89020.aspx

They updated the Japanese DMC 4 site again, only yet again it's in the Developer Diary. It just shows a computer shot of Fortuna i believe. Oh and last weeks if ya didn't check it out was a hoodie like jacket of Nero's coat...

Yeah, as I said in the main post, the site now updates weekly, although generally it is just the addition of a new diary entry.

Aren't DMC4 gonna be on PS2? Any possibilies that CAPCOM will come out of a plan to convert this "HIGH-TECHNOLOGY" graphics of PS3 to PS2?

lol You sound like you might actually be serious, so allow me to make it very clear....

NO CHANCE. No chance at all. No possibility.

There is literally a 0% chance of DMC4 releasing on PS2. It will not happen. Ever.

And you can quote me on that.

The very idea is just so impossible and so ridiculous, that it is laughable. Next gen titles being specifically used to sell next gen consoles are not gonna be demodelled, remade, rebuilt and then released on last gen models. With the only real exception to the rule being Zelda TP, and thats only happening cause a Wii is basically a gamecube with new features...

The only thing more surprising than the fact that someone asked that, is that you're not the first person to ask it.

Like Dext says, no chance, not gonna happen. As I said before, how many PS2 games were had "dumb-downed" versions made for the PS1? The only game that I can personally think of that ever had that done for it, is the new Zelda game that's supposed to be on both the Gamecube and Wii.

Re: Devil May Cry 4: Information HQ

     *Confirmed in PSM Mag.*

Yes, Dante's taking a step away from the spotlight....so of course Nero will probably be the one that they show throughout most of the game. Nero has a red vest, blue coat, and white hair (of course). Nero has a "Devil Bringer", or a "Devil Right Hand" instead of a so-called "Devil Trigger", which can be used to pull enimies closer or push them away. Or even throw them into the air and start juggling them! It is unknown if it will have to be used to solve puzzles....but probably. (PSM never said anything about the arm being possessed....so it's anyone's guess). But there is also something up with Nero's sword, Red Queen, but the developers won't reveal how it works other than the fact that it uses what's referred to as the "Acceleration" system, and that it somehow works like a motorcycle's clutch and throttle. Sounds odd, but that's what PSM thought.

You shouldn't count out Dante just yet. He'll definitely be back, but it's unkown to what capacity, or even if he'll be a playable character (they say yes). The basic story has Dante visiting a city called Fortuna, where he's wiping out members of a religious order that worships Sparda! Why is he doing this? They don't know, but NEro's mission is to stop Dante, no matter what it takes (however, given the fact that this game takes place after DMC1 and DMC2...Dante will ultimately survive his encounter with Nero.....)

Actually, it reminds us of Metal Gear Solid 2...doesn't it? Which also had a pretty-boy newcomer (Raiden) on a mission to hunt down the series' protagonist (Solid Snake). In fact, thos who look carefully should note that Dante, like Solid Snake, is now sporting a beard. No mullet though (thank goodness!).

One of the primary concerns fans have about the series is the difficulty: DMC2 was too easy for alot of players; DMC3 was too hard for alot of players.But....expect a DMC3 level of difficulty for DMC4. However, the developers want to have the difficulty to ramp up as the game goes on, so don't worry too much-you won't be immediately thrown into a situation you can't handle. Hopefully, like all of the other DMC's...you'll most likely be able to choose your own difficulty. So it will be manageable for most gamers.

Fair fight? Haha! Not quite. And just think: this is only the first boss! Imagine what else is in store for you.....;)

Re: Devil May Cry 4: Information HQ

As usual, PSM is a month behind everyone else and repeats all the same stuff we have already heard.... I don't see any new info there, and what's worse, they missed out bits and badly explained the rest.

If anyone is interested though, the DMC4 site has been updated to include new screens. Most are just proper quality versions of the ones we saw in the early scans, but a few are genuinely new.

....Why did I know you were going to say something like that? I kept hearing stuff like "it's not confirmed that this or that is true"....so I decided to talk about it. And figure that....it was only a week ago that I heard it.

BTW: PSM doesn't care what other magazines already said, and they don't know that someone like you, who reads the IGN's knew because PSM wouldn't be checking out what other magazines said. If you were a magazine company, you wouldn't be saying something like " well, since PSM/IGN talked about this game, we won't talk about it" because you wouldn't want to have fans of your company go and look for information somewhere else.

Re: Devil May Cry 4: Information HQ

My point is that PSM never get any new information, exclusives or scoops, instead they are always repeating what other mags and sources have already said ages ago. And I wasn't attacking you for posting that, so much as attacking PSM as a crap source for info. PSM are also a poor way to "confirm" news since they rarely get their info directly from interviews like the better mags.

ACTUAL NEWS: I have unofficial confirmation that the female DMC4 characters name is not Katie, not Jeannie, not Trinity, but Kyrie. This is from Johnny Young Bosh, Neros VA, the one who shouted the name in the first place, via an email reply.
