We're limited by budget etc as things like weapons, costumes, cameras etc all cost loads.  England is unfortunately not a cheap shopping country.  We are def looking into having Vergil and Dante being in Devil Trigger at some points throughout the film.  However, due to obvious reasons they will not be sporting wings and will hopefully look more like the devil trigger mode from DMC2. This way it will require mostly just a hair and face job, leaving the clothes as they are and digitally adding electrical effects etc.  I dont think we'll be setting it in England, just wouldnt seem to suit the story or the feel of the movie esp as we nearly have the script locked down.

Ok, we have a name for the film now.  "Devil May Cry :  The Tears Of sparda". 

I can give you a little bit of the plot, but not too much. ;o)

The 'Tears of Sparda' are 3 powerful crystals in the shape of Sparda's eyes.

Thats all I'm allowed to give away for the moment.  But as soon as I have a website sorted, you'll be able to see character bio's, a little more of the plot, and hopefully some production photo's.

By the way, if you're gonna be Vergil, keep in mind he has a very distinctive body language... Dante keeps his limbs really loose and kinda slouches when he walks. Vergil is a Threat brought to life. He moves slowly, is tremendously in control of the space around him, and strikes very, very fast.

Also, the katana. Better practice that sheathing move. It is all-important.

I've been studying Vergil very closely along with how every other character moves around.  I'm sure we'll have it worked out well enough to do the characters justice.  Surprisingly enough, the Katana that I'm going to turn into Yamato arrived today so I can begin practicing with it and sorting out moves etc.  I understand the whole 'Polar opposites'  thing between Vergil and Dante. 

I'm almost getting the feeling you're worried I dont know what I'm doing or if I've even played the games!? hehe :oP

Its gonna be a while in production because we all work regular jobs during the day so its only evenings and weekend we've got to do any work on it.  Now that the samurai sword I'm going to turn into Yamato has arrived, I'm trying to get some serious practice in with it.  We will definately be bleaching my hair until it is completely white for the film too, so no shoddy wigs for Vergil at least.  Dante may have to have one tho. 

We have a LOT of work to do, planning, locations etc but I have a good team working for me and although this will probably be a long in the making project, I'm confident we can make it as good as we possibly can.

My biggest fear isnt finding the right locations, costumes etc, its letting you guys down. Being a huge fan of the games myself, I know exactly what I would expect from a film like this and I want to be able to deliver exactly that in my film.  I'm more than happy with the story and script I have written and I've got a friend working on setting up an official website soon too.

I really appreciate all the good luck gestures and encouragement from you all, when I get down about all the things we have to get sorted, your comments always tip me back on top.  Keep them coming :o)  Promise I'll have some production pictures as soon as we have the costumes sorted etc.
