I just think that capcom know how much virgil was loved i thought they would of at least a cameo like how they did mundus at the end of DMC 3. Now we have to wait 3 more years and thats only if the theories of virgil possesing nero are true.

There is no reason to feel cheated. Vergil was already killed in the first DMC back in 2001. ;)

And his soul is present in DMC4 all the time.

I definitely felt cheated dude! i bought that game JUST 2 C if Vergil wuz n it. Plain and simple,IF Vergil is dead the dmc series (games) r gonna die with em! Every cool game that lasts awhile has a bad guy sum people love. Ex. Final fantasy that Sepiroth or however u spell his name. Sonic series u got Shadow. This game its Dante vs Vergil. U get rid of that u dont really have much of a game nemore. PRIME EXAMPLE,look at Dmc 2 and i guess u could say look at Dmc4 cuz it had its LETDOWNS no question bout it

I have to admit, the conflict between the Sons of Sparda was the best storyline that happened in the DmC series. I don't want to see Capcom over use the same formula over and over again, though. One of them has to win in the very end, there is really no need to make it an endless conflict. It gets repetitive very soon.

They BETTER find a way 2 bring Vergil back! I heard n 1 of these forums that sum people wanted 2 c Nero as the POSTERBOY 4 Dmc! i hope and pray that doesnt happen. Cuz i SWEAR ill quit playn Dmc altogether. But back 2 the subject,the possibility of Vergil being n Dmc4 wuz THE ONLY REASON i bought the game. I hope n dmc5 2 c him n it. I personally just think that Nero is Vergil's son from how he was able to activate Yamato so easily and have Nelo Angelo's essence floating above him while he has his Devil Trigger Activated. But I think one day Nero and Vergil will come face to face maybe in the demon world or something else but they might and then we will find out the truth.
