    Re: Tekken!

Thanks a lot Vampi, that clears a lot of things up.

By the way, Kazuya didn't rape Jun, the story alludes to the fact that they were in love with each other. Jun wanted to free Kazuya of the devil gene, and in the process she fell in love with him. That makes sense to me.

    Hell's War-Monger:
    Vampi:

Hell Monger...we already have a character that vicious in Tekken...he's called Bryan Fury.

Hmm...I don't think Jun is Unknown, cause when i saw Unknown's ending, she looked really different from Jun. I think Unknown is Jin's twin sister...since they both have the same scar (No it's not a tattoo like everyone believes) And since Jin looks like Kazuya but acts like Jun, maybe Unknown looks like Jun and acts like Kazuya...she does have that wolf spirit possessing her...

I heard that Kazuya raped Jun...but i don't think that's true. I think they might've had a fling or something when Jin was conceived.

lol, no need of sarcasm... bryan is a sadistic cyborg clown of a sadistic dude that has been dead for quite some time. he has no temper or the fury of battle as the one i'm imagining in my head. besides, i'm only describing his fighting style (call it brute force or something). i believe Jun is Unknown, for many hints the game tell you about- Unknown is a possesed demon, hence the scar on the arm. Unknownlooks like Jun, and starts off with her fighting style always- and only then shifts to copy- style. Jin is the only offspring of Kaz for the moment, and TTT has no plot. so the theory of making a new character with no explanations that is related to the mishima family in some way is kinda pointless, Namco wouldn't expect you to figure out that Unknown is Jin's sister, however, a dead familiar fighter... one of the vertions indicates Kaz raped Jun, but it's not how things were- Kaz had Devil inside of him, and Jun had special mystic force, so they were atracted, she was not seduced by Devil himself, she was attracted to the overwelming mystic aura inside of him, and Kaz to her powers, but it was love evantually. Jun was killed by Ogre when Jin was 15, here's a link: http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/tekken3/

it says so in one of the last paragraphs, note that Toshin (God of Fighting) is actually Ogre.

very good job with the t6 intell Vampi!!

Ok, maybe Jun is Unknown. I don't really believe it, but whatever. I don't care if she is or isn't, I just think she's not....it's just me. On tekken zaibatsu (I am a member there)  there are discussions whether they are the same person, but from what I've read nothing official has been announced yet. It's all fan speculations. Anyway, I don't care about it because I din't play TTT and Jun isn't one of my interests. That being said I don't care either whether she's dead or alive. I said that it's not for certain that she's dead. Baek was also presumed dead and yet he got 'resurrected' (as in resurrected by the game designers) in Tekken 5. This just goes to show you that nothing is for certain. Kazuya was dead, but he was literally resurrected. So you never know what to expect from Namco.

you're absolutely right, sorry i have failed to mention that on some places the Jun-Unknown identity is still a mystery, so it's my fault.

BUT if what i've read is true, and it better be coz it's the Zaibatsu's official plot site, Jun IS dead, and just like Kaz she would have to be literally resurrected from the dead. btw, TTT is one of the best tekken games out there if not the best, and if you haven't got used to the  insane speed of T5, give it a try! =D my team is Kaz & Devil, the tag is actually a transforment!! other cool teams are Lee and Heihachi- Hei gives Lee some spanking when they enter the battle, and on some cases nuggies :P very recommended!

Ok, I agree that the "official" storyline says that Jun dead, but what I'm saying is that still it's not for sure. Just look at this:

    Hwoarang's profile in Tekken 3:

Hwoarang is a student of Baek Doo San and well-versed in the martial art of taekwondo. He used to gamble in street fighting. His fellow gang members would lose matches, then Hwoarang would step in and win. During one of these matches, he faced Jin Kazama, and he was forced to end in a draw. This was the first time that he had not succeeded in winning a fight. Hwoarang decided to train harder and never lose again. Upon visiting the dojo, he saw the dojo destroyed. It had been attacked by Ogre.

Frustrated and angry, he entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 to fight a conclusive battle with Jin, and to get revenge for the death of his master.

It's canon and it explicitly sais that Baek is dead....meaning that you can expect anything from Namco.

About Tekken Tag, hmm interesting :) I read stuff about it and many say it's good, but I'm still into Tekken 5 (I love its speed :D).

i must have read a diffrent profile of hwoarang, the one iv'e read says he was attacked and dissapeared, Zaibatsu site says he was attacked, this site: http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~mxavier/TEKKEN3/sstory/shwoar.htm says he dissapeared, so i guess that equally he could have been killed, what means that so can Jun. it's really fun for me to talk about things like that seriously, iv'e never had conversations about tekken as serious as this one, you certainly know your games!

Stick out tongue you may have won the battle, but not the war! until next time we meet!! *fades lamely into the shadows* Stick out tongue

I read it on wikipedia. I don't really know which site actually has the official storyline, so until you see it for yourself you can't really believe it. Yeah, I do go overboard when it comes to my favorite games, I like to know backgrounds and biographies, it's like a hobby. And I do take games seriously, even though most people think it's strange.

    :)

I guess you realized that I don't want to fight; just debate and let people know why I came to some conclusion. I have been wrong many times and I know I'm not always right, so I don't mean to force my theories on people, sorry it I sounded like I do. So, basically it's not about who wins, you can still believe that Jun's dead, I just like think that her death is not a closed topic for Namco.

It's been a while since I last played either. I got into them because the controls were easier then MK's at the time but all beatum ups seem the same now.
