on dmc4 how do you get past the lost woods i keep coming back to it iam new to the game plse help

Okay. What you need to do is observe the pillar in the middle of the Lost Woods. Notice its shadow? You have to travel down the path opposite the shadow; that is, towards the light that is casting the shadow. The position of the shadow changes, so keep going down the opposite path.

Get it right enough times and you can advance towards the Den of the She-Viper.
