Ok, seriously...dont ever say Halo is better than DMC. Halo is the most over-rated, hyped game of all time, it doesnt deserve any credit. Its far from great. DMC is ALOT more unique than a first-person-shoot'em'up in the future with an OK story which i've seen a million times before. At least DMC4 has different gameplay and wow, a first in a VERY long time, a deep connection of affection and love!? Havent seen that in years, DMC had its own atmosphere and graphic style, gothic architecture, clothing etc

DMC4 left obvious plot holes to be answered in a sequel, which will be DMC5. Leaving Neros origin, Kyries background and Fortuna all unanswered, along with Neros DB is rediculous, Capcom arent that dumb, despite stupid decisions they have done. Im in college doing gaming and conceptual art and its common knowledge that they will. It leaves it open to explain Nero EVEN more if they leave it open the way it has been. Not always knowing is everything, it makes you want to know more and discuss it into detail, so the final result with surprize you; its called a cliffhanger. If everything was answered in 1 or two games, theres no point continuing the series because you get tired and theres nothing else much to work on. DMC is slowly relasing information, which actually gives you more fun and actually more detail and emotion than if it was all just said.

Do you know what contradiction even means? Who cares if theres plot holes you dunce, it leaves more open for the series and sequel rather than explaining everything out right in front of you, leaving you with only limited installments within the series. Im a kid? How old are you 13 or 14; maybe younger, your grammar certainly doesnt say much. Every mostly agrees its over-hyped anyway just because everything is just 'said' to you.

Arguing about two completely different perspective games and genres is idiotic. I had the same arguement about MGS and DMC, both stories are different, gameplay, graphic style etc. DMC is in a league of its own, and having a brain means that you know there will BE another installment within DMC to explain origin and Neros Devil Bringer. Think more next time.

Man? Firstly, im a girl, secondly im 17 and in college doing conceptual art, game progamming and design; so i know more than your "lololol!11 ur so dumb" comments which are retarded, if you were older than 14 and still type like that then get some grammar lessons.

Firstly, if Spardas origin, his story; a complete over-view of Dante, Vergil and Nero were all explained, then it would have ended at DMC3 by now, much like Halo and MSG even though this would be satisfying, but id rather have more of DMC than less. MGS has an indepth story-line which is well written, but, since so many things have been explained about everything, its obviously going to end soon. Nero is a new character, and hes come along later in the series, now if Dante came along in DMC1 and did this, yes it wouldn't be good insight, but they have to in order to at least get some positive feedback for a first impression. Vergil is in the same boat as Nero, both are unexplained and why Vergil is somehow a 'better' character when hes extremely dull and mono-tone throughout without much backdrop on him, its better? The story in DMC3 had a stronger basis, but that didnt leave it without plotholes, so you may aswel call the entire DMC series bad when its not. Now since Nero has come in, and made quite a fanbase around himself, hes only just come in one game, and to pack all the action and emotion along with explaining Nero is pretty tricky. Infact, a good definition is a cliff-hanger which books use alot. Vergil was the same, hes been mentioned in 2 games, Nero only 1 and with another to explain his origins more and build his character up which is what Vergil done. DMC4 had its own personal atmosphere surrounding it, and it felt heart warming to see Kyrie and Nero at the end instead of "Hahahah im gonna shoot a rocket at you while blind-folded" (obviously Dante) even though i find it hilarious. But still.

Technically, im not the only Vergil hater, loads of other people on different forums actually dont like him. Ok heres a simple question:

If nothing was known about Dante and he first appeared in the series in the 4th installment like Nero with nothing known about him (despite having his past explained later but you dont know this) would you still hate him?

Most people would and judge too fast, Nero could have a great background like Dantes if you give it a chance. Someone in my college said that they liked Nero and only just played the 4th and then played the others, they liked Dante more, simply because you knew him, saying the same for Nero here; as in, the more you know the better, so if Dante came in and could have a great story eventually, why not Nero?

So this means no upside down typing, no text talk, fine it is alright to use stuff like "lol" or "lmao", but what we don't want to see is a whole message wrote in text talk. Especially in the Devil May Cry board, and we don't consistently want to see messages such as "OMG U GOR PWNERIZED", instead resort to typing it tidy. Ok, I will admit that Pwnd is an internet word for owned, so, yes it is ok to see that, but the above is what bugs us.

Wow, dont even take theories into consideration and just wipe it off like a know it all? Try coming to a real debate in a DMC4 forums elsewhere and get wiped on the floor with it. Of course, you know everything coming from an young teen who can barely type.
