I never said Nero would be killed off and the solution I like that more than mine lol but Nero really isnt anything but a name you don't know anythign about him no background well not much he has no story besides what he did in DMC4

Capcom did that for the purpose of being able to take Neros story in any direction, along with making another plot, possibly in DMC5? Anyway, Nero is more than a 'name', hes become a major part of the series, more than Vergil or Lady, Trish. Capcom created him not just to throw him in, but to explain his part within the story and make everyone used to him and ready for the sequel. Capcom have something major in mind if they made him the main protagonist within the series. Dante has had his limelight for years, give Nero a chance i say, even then Dante was a major part.

I don't think so I just think they rushed the game and didn't have time to give him a story but liek you said give him a chance and hope that he doesn't disapoint anyone. Besides he is pretty cool and i don't think they will get rid of Dante cause first off way to many dante fans and plus he is DMC and who knows give nero a few games he could be a major character like dante and knowing capcom they might just make hi his own game that would be cool

Re: Up to Mission 19 and Disappointed About Lack of Dante

Series usually stay stronger if they dont stray and make spin-offs, that end up mucking the story up. It stays more epic if its all concentrated into one game; thus more effort. I agree, the game was rushed in terms of, they were going to add more, but since it was going multi-platform, they felt under pressure and released on the date promised.

Nero should at least have one or two more games with him being the centre of attention. Capcom still wouldnt have explained much about Nero even if more was added; if im mistaken, they were actually going to add more weapons, just as extra. I liked Nero as much as Dante and sometimes more in different areas. Either way, there are too many Nero fans (such as myself) to just not have him in again or be playable to a higher degree, otherwise Capcom will have screwed up.

True capcom is in a pickle -folds arms and closes eyes* and I to liek Nero but i doubt they make another game with nero in it but if they do i will most likley have Dante in it if not then its a hole new game and i bet in a year or so they will make a game revealing his past and such

Re: Up to Mission 19 and Disappointed About Lack of Dante

Nero may be playable again, or even the protagonist (doubt but you never know) and this time may have Dante and Nero 50-50 in gameplay wise through-out the story. Capcom, so far, have made unpredictable stories, no one ever predicted Nero and the events of DMC3 after DMC2. Anything could happen...just another 2 year wait thats all. *sigh*

But Capcom have more in mind for Nero than just being a side-line character like Lady and Trish, hes going to have a major part.

Why are all the DMC4 forums empty? The game only just came out. T_T

Ken don't flatter yourself *Folds arms and smirks* anyway I like how Nero resimbles Dante and Vergil and Dante's  devil form is pretty kickass way better then DMC3 he has buttwings in that one

Re: Up to Mission 19 and Disappointed About Lack of Dante

I could go on forever why i loved DMC4.

Nero brought something new to the series instead of it just being "Dante Dante Dante" all through-out, hes been the star of 3 games and probably god knows how many more, Nero should have a shot.

I loved the story, yes there are flaws; but all games within the series contain this. The environment didnt seem as dark and lighter as within Fortuna which i personally enjoyed instead of being in dark, empty streets filled with demons. The love between Kyrie and Nero was quite tender, and the ending especially where Kyrie accepted Nero whether he was a demon or not. Its a little harsh picking on Nero because after all dont forget Dantes "I should have been the one to fill your sould with LIIIIIGHT!!111!!11!" Now that was bad voice acting plus not to mention:

Having your childhood friend, companion, lover all in one; taken away from you (Kyrie)

Your arm becoming a weird manifestation of a demon

Credo trying to kill him when he trusted him

Everyone generally trying to kill you along with witnessing other secrets

and of course knowing your the a decendant of Sparda ALL in one day...now wouldnt you get fustrated and scream a bit? Nero pretty much kept his cool through most of it and i admire it.

The graphics were over-all stunning and the gameplay was slick and smooth which gave nice feel to it. I could go on but its 2 in the moring and im tired. Anyway, ive played since DMC1 as a kid, so i  can honestly say DMC4 is my favourite and having Nero who i love as much as Dante, sometimes more in other aspects, so yeah. Im totally obsessed with the game lol. I have 5 different DMC4 shirts, Order of the sword necklace, OST soundtrack, ring and watch from it....so its safe to say i LOVE Nero and the game! XD

Re: Up to Mission 19 and Disappointed About Lack of Dante

Yea umm i can tell ur obsessed. (a lil scary) and i gotta make this known 2 everybody,Dmc4 left 2 many questions, hence y it got a 3 out of 5 grade overall. Its average. Average games r alrite i guess, but GREAT GAMES like Halo,Dmc1 and 3,Metal Gear Solid, etc. have 1 thing n common. u know wut that is? THEY DIDNT LEAVE NE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS OR PLOT HOLES! u knew wut wuz goin on and THAT is key 2 ANY games success! PERFECT example of a game with 2 many holes or questions is DMC2! Now u cant tell me u knew wut wuz goin on if u playd Dmc1 b4 that. *Slams hand on table* i rest my case!
