Alright, maybe I need to explain myself a little more if the answer is not obvious enough already.

Immortal means that you can't be killed.

Nero can be killed.

Like Makuta said, his demonic powers just make it harder to kill him. But he will die after enough punishment just like Dante and Vergil who are a lot more powerful than Nero.

Hmm me and a friend have been discussing this..

My friend thinks Nero is the son of Vergil fore the way Yamato reacted with Nero. And Dante saying the the whole family thing.

 But I think it has to deal with Vergil's soul in his arm. Isn't Dante in his late 20s in 4? If he is, think if Vergil was still there he would've been the same age as Dante. And Nero is like a late teenager.

Have you played the first DMC? If you have, the answer should be clear to you.

Sparda was a full demon, so he didn't age like a normal human. Sparda sealed some of his demonic powers (the Force Edge) within the gate and continued to preserve harmony on earth. He fought the armies of hell to keep them from invading the human world. At some point he found Eva, and decided to live the rest of his days as a normal human with her, meaning that he gave up his powers. They had children and Sparda died before Dante and Vergil were born. It is not clear if he died of old age or by fighting demons, but nevertheless, he was alive not too long ago before the twins were born.

Bottom line. Vergil isnt Neros father. Its impossible, unless Vergil had a fling as a teenager which wouldnt reflect well on the story at all. Yamato responding to Neros Devil arm could be an array of possibilities...and when Dante said "gotta keep it in the family" he meant for himself with Vergil and Dante. He only gave Yamato to Nero as a "gift".

I sumhow think that Nero's demon self is Vergil. am i right? But, unlike most of the ppl here, i aint thik! Its kinda OVIOUS that Vergil hasnt a son, specialy Nero, isnt it?! I got that frm the beginin! i havnt been playn DMC that much but its easy to sus it out, isnt it, but is the demon of Nero Vergil? Thats the only bit that confuses me... Duz ne 1 hav de ansr 4 me? i need it... an, jst 2 say dis, I LOVE DMC 4!!!!! (sorry, just bein random. lol... X D  )
