I guess dantes acting made him look like he knew something about nero besides his devil arm but my question stands who the hell is nero is he a demon a normal human or virgils son or what.

I know this is a double post but listen to me I have 2 new clues how Nero might be a demon or related to sparda in a way.when fighting Dante right after Nero throws Dantes sword into his chest Dante says that him and Nero are just alike Now I thought to my self what could that mean then then he says We are just alike and so are they and they are the died people laying on the floor  and those died people are demons so Nero has to be a demon. Here is another clue the fire hell demon says that he was just like him and him has to be sparda because the fire hell demon has not been out of the hell gate for about 2,000 yyears the same amount  years that sparda went against the demons

Ok here is what i have gathered on nero i think that because he has spardas blood right that dose not mean that he has to even be his son but just a part of the family like a cousin or something + sparda did disappear for like 20 year or something before his apparent death (i dont think he is dead he will make a come back to help dante finish it all) he might have had other kids with other women and nero's powers where not full awoken yet but after the release of virgils soul, virgil finding another way to gain more power by infusing himself with a different member of the sparda blood line thus the reason why Yamato restored when nero needed power to protect kiria (i dont remember how to spell her name and cant be assed at the moment to find it ;D) reason y his arm was in the sling and why she said "you have not recovered yet" and a give away was the line nero said if i become a demon so be it anything to protect her" saying that he willingly let virgil infuse with his body in order to protect kiria, 

 

Dante said we are alike because he thought Nero was a demon at first.  It seemed like they had fought before because they had at the beginning of the game.  Dante did say he wanted to keep it in the family and at the end he changed his mind and trusted Nero with it.  Nero said "I thought this meant a lot to you." and Dante said "It's the only kind of gift worth giving."  He thought about it and found Nero trustworthy.  Also, Nero does have Sparda's blood in him but it's unclear how.  He's probably a distant relative.  Berial said he was like "him", which could refer to Vergil,  Sparda,  or Dante since they've all been to hell.  He was like them because he's related to them.

Berial could only have referred to Sparda, because the last time he came to the human world was 2000 years ago. Vergil and Dante couldn't even have been born then

It is possible that dante or virgil have been here for 2000 years because they are both half demons and noes how long there life spend is and nero couldn't of known about dante or virgil becuase it sayed he was born and grown up with the order of the sword (read the book) but ia m still looking over the game to find out more hints.

To answer the topic question, I'd say no possible way. Look it's obvious Nero has Sparda's blood, but there are other ways besides "Vergil's son". Considering Dante and Vergil are the same age and Dante is in his 30's in DmC4. Nero is too old to be the son of either of them. It's possible Sparda had a third son. Though I highly doubt it.

I think everything Nero has is because Vergil's soul attached itself to his right arm. Giving Nero the strength, DT, and the blood. I bet if Vergil were to separate from Nero, he would lose all power and his hair might even go to a natural color.

Vergil's soul not in the devil bringer. But the devil bringer seems to absorbs powers so has anyone ever thought maybe reason Nero devil trigger resembles vergil's so much is cause he absorb yamato's power. Oh and on a another note Dante said yamato should stay in the family and at the end Nero tried give the sword back and Dante turned around and said keep it, then Nero said thoughts this meant alot to you, Dante then said thats the only gift worth giving. In that case Dante was giving Nero yamato out of friendship.
