Zechra: I'm not sure what game you've been playing, but if you were playing DMC4 and you STILL dont think nero's DT is vergil then i dont know what to tell you. I'm not one of the people who thought it was vergil all along, but there are way too many clues and hints that its vergil to ignore.
just some off the top of my head:
1.) Nero has 4 different vergil taunts. i dont think capcom is that lazy.
2.)everytime your in DT and nero shoots the blue rose, the DT shoots miniture summoned swords and does patterns exactly like vergils in DMC3
3.) The DTs obvious connection with the Yamato (he is the only one who could repair the yamato. The Yamato is a manifestation of vergils own power)
4.) atleast one of the yamato special moves that you can upgrade (i think its showdown, but i havent played the game in a few weeks), Nero does a long powerup b4 unleashing alot of slashes on a demon with the yamato. While he's powering up his voice sounds EXACTLY like vergils when he powered up in the boss fights with dante in DMC3.
5.) The feathers throughout the game (play dmc3)
6.) the "i need more power" line
7.)the arm sheath that the DT has (just like vergils when he DTs)
8)the story in the back of the game manual. The story was, in my opinion, obviously talking about Vergil and Dante. Vergil lost to mundus, but dante (his identical twin brother) 'came back' and defeated him.
9.) if you split pictures from vergil from dmc3 and the DT from the artwork where its holding the yamato, the faces match perfectly with each other.
10.) this is just a theory i have but: That amulet kyrie has looks alot like a piece of one of the amulets dante and vergil had. I personally think a piece of it fell off during his fight with mundus and somehow ended up in that city along with the yamato and nelo angelos shell.
