Nero reminds me of Dante from DMC3. Cocky and overconfident. Maybe why Dante likes Nero he reminds him of himself at that age.

I dislike him on principle. The circumstances of his creation and design, sicken me.

Yeah, I haven't heard a good reason for his inclusion yet.  I guess it could theoretically be a smoke-screen, but it seems like they are genuine with their reasoning so far, and that's bogus.  However, Nero himself seems alright, he's just completely surplus to requirements.

Re: What do you think of Nero???

I think you all have made yourselves narrow-minded towards the series. Dante is still top dawg, no one disputes that fact. Even more, we know Dante makes it through because he comes back in Devil May Cry 2. Nero won't take Dante or Vergil's place because the developers are making him a character worthy enough to hold his own place in the series which I think no one is considering. Nero isn't even in the same league as Dante.

Now for those of you who are hoping Nero is gonna be strong... I'll bet you... by the end of the game Nero will have grown enough in terms of power he'll be in Dante's ballpark. It's a given, Dante or Nero will be the final boss, so brace yourselves. I'm lookin' forward to it. I was dissapointed when I didn't get to fight Dante with Vergil in Special Edition. Also take this into consideration. As a good guy, we've always fought from a disadvantage. We got a few seconds of use in Devil Trigger for previous games and outnumbered by enemies that can kill us in two to three shots. (Assuming you like Dante Must Die) Nero is the same case, it doesn't mean he's stronger than Dante by any means, he just might be able to hold his own. That's all.

Nero won't be bad as long as you keep an open mind. Nero will never take Dante or Vergil's place in the series and don't play him down because he looks like them. He's a cool guy in his own standing. Don't compare him to Dante or Vergil because that ain't fair. Anyone other than Sparda who gets compared to those two is gonna get crushed. Superman don't got squat on those two. So don't compare anyone to Dante or Vergil, or your settin yourselves up for dissapointment.

I agree with that, but I still haven't seen anything that convinces me that it's a good idea to have him in the game.  Hopefully he will be fun to play.

I think Nero is better than Dante(don't kill me XD),did you saw what he can do with that arm, come on you Dante fan boys,he has way cooler moves!<_<

I would really if he was present and playable in future DMC games.

Re: What do you think of Nero???

Wow... you got ba**s... Bold statement. I must admit though, Nero gameplay does LOOK cooler, but Dante still pawns. Take into consideration the devil trigger. Maybe it'll go back to its DMC1 roots and be the next best thing since strawberry sundaes. DMC1 always had the coolest DT's.

For your bold statement: I commend you.

    For reasoning: ...maybe...

I'd be willing to bet though, Nero dies at the end of the game. Other than DMC2 which was the black sheep of the series, they've always been borderline tragedies. It's what gives the games that extra "kick" to the storyline. I don't think this would be an unrealistic comment. They're probably gonna make us like Nero for shock effect too. Nero is genually cool though, it'll be interesting to see how his fate plays out.

Now what would be awesome... play as Trish and Lady! YEAH!!

I just think it's too early to say about how each of them will play and how interesting they will be, so much of that relies on their weapons and the moves with those weapons.

For me Nero=good weapons, Devil Bringer. Nothing else.

Although Nero looks like Dante, he isn't the same guy and is a new element to the story, and allows the player to see Dante from an outsider's perspective for a while.  Nero's Devil Bringer is the biggest difference I think, in terms of gameplay.  I am still not convinced that he is a good inclusion to the game.

Now, if Nero does have several weapons and guns, then this game will utlra chunky!
