I don't know if this has been done before, but I am just curious as to what everyone thinks about the newcomer Nero...

As characters, I like both Dante and Vergil, and it seems to me that Nero is a sort of in between dude...

 

Dante has red, Vergil has blue. Nero enjoys purple funnily enough.

And I've read somewhere that Nero won't have DT :O. But the quote from the Japanese dude was "the key word in devil trigger is DEVIL".

So i was just wondering what YOU think of the new tacker??? 

from what i seen he looks awsome. And he wont have a dt he has a posessed arm that gives him really sweet attacks. He looks more fun then dmc with any dt to me. But i dont think he will ever take place of dante or anyone who is a main character to the fans.

yea he does look hella good lol.and that arm of his looks like fun. supposedly it works on ALL enemys INCLUDING BOSSES (Y). but yea your right i dont think he will take the place of Dante as the HERO.

One thing that is a bit iffy is that when Dante was the main protagonist, it was believable that he could possibly do some of those insane moves because he is half Devil/Demon...

Nero is only human, so even with his specially modified sword, gun, and the Devil Bringer, (which would make him a lot stronger than any normal mortal), he is still no match for Dante's or Vergil's bag of Skittles.   

He's got skill with a blade and gun. Though it isn't Dante I think they could have done worse like make anouther Arkham character.

Taking into consideration, that with some of Nero's Devil Bringer attacks, how his hand grows massive in order to pick up large enemies, wouldn't it be funny if one of Nero's taunts was a giant demonic finger?

Well, that's a good question lol. I hate Nero...as much as I love him o.o I never thought that there would be a clon of Dante in dmc4. When I first saw him I was like "Is this his son or something?" His blade and his gun are really cool and what he wears and stuff..but after seeing Dante having nearly the same things..It doesnt taste so good or brand new. I'm not saying Nero sucks..in my opinion in dmc4 he's hotter than Dante(not dmc3 Dante though) lol His devil arm is the best thing I appreciate about him. New combos and everything, yeah pretty good.. yet Dante's abilitiy to change his style during gameplay..wow...I couldnt love Nero much because he makes me feel like he's trying to steal Dante's spot...anyway, he's a good character and he's hot. ^.^

Gotta wait and see what happens in the game, some key things need to be answered before I know what I think of em both:

Nero:
+ How many weapons does he have? What are they? What does he do with them?
+ How many techniques will he have?
+ How many guns does he have? What are they? What does he do with them?
+ How much stuff can he do with the devil bringer? is it cool enough? does he do anything else?
+ Does he have cool lines of dialogue?
+ What's his story and origin?

Dante:
+ Does he just have the old weapons and guns?
+ New weapons?  What are they? What does he do with them?
+ Any new moves for old weapons?
+ Any new techniques for old styles?

I think Nero is going to be a great character to the series it puts a new twist to Devil May Cry in the near future they can be more games of Devil May Cry with newcomers like Nero but instead of people called Sparda a legend in people worship him.maybe it will Dante they call a legend and stuff but the only thing about it was i heard that Nero don't get new weapons but focus on his devil bringer which is still awesome so overally Nero is going to be an excellent character.
