I like Lady's outfit a lot. I'm a girl, and I don't find that outfit "offensive" or anything... isn't that what pretty much ALL women characters look like in video games? I mean, seriously. Besides the fact it looks like her shirt could just pop open any minute, she doesn't look that different than how she looked in DMC3 in my opinion.

I completely agree. I was appalled when I saw how Lady was dressed in DMC4. I don't take her seriously at all. She looks worse than a hooker. And don't get me started on Gloria, she looks like a hot mess. I saw the trailer with her intro in the game and I think I caught an STD just watching it. Trish definitely looks like a tranny (transvestite). She always has. I don't get her appeal.

 

 PS: Capcom please give us more shots of Dante bare!!! They showed us Dante coming out of the bathroom after a shower. How about actually giving us a shower scene.  Hey, it worked for Parasite Eve 2. Don't they realize how many girls love DMC??

Okay I know most of the ladies were talking about a shower scene up there but lol I personally think Dante is good the way he is. I think Lady could have been good the way she was. Just "a little" bit loose outfit would do good. She can be sexy without looking like a hooker ;] like how it was in dmc3. I mean, I assume most of the guys thought that way. Dante is a sexy, confident, charismatic character, and whilst there is a limit to what costumes I think would suit him, there is more room for that with his personality, because he is meant to be sexy.  He is also just one male character who happens to be sexy, in a sea of millions of unsexual characters, so it is acceptable to see him that way.  On the other hand, sexuality isn't one of Lady's defining characteristics, she was all about rage and revenge in DMC3, not flirting.  But more importantly, female characters are frequently over-sexualized, and it has got to the point where it's totally stupid and cliched.  So I don't think it really makes sense to say that if Dante can be sexy, so should Lady.  Not all character should be sexualized, and especially not Lady, because of how she was defined in DMC3.

Exactly, Going from rebellious and mad to looking like she's ready to jump into bed with anyone is'nt the Lady I remember. I can only hope and pray that her attitude wont match her outfit in the game, cause if she acts like the way she dresses. I'v lost all hope for interesting female characters in the DMC series. I don't like Trish or Lucia, Kyrie sounds like a pretty boring damsel in distress, and Gloria..... ridiculously over-sexualized. Please Capcom, for the love of God don't turn your characters into porn stars!.

Ok, goodish thread. Let's reason here: Lady in DMC 3 = short pants and white shirt with deep cleavage (yes, it was deep). Lady in DMC4=short pants and jacket with deep+wide cleavage. Not a huge difference.

Lady was sexy in DMC3 as well, only the CGs you saw didn't really emphasize that. In the DMC4 CGs she smiles devilishly (major factor) and has only one button on that flimsy jacket. I'm not saying that she's casually dressed, but she's definitively not a ***/hooker. I does sadden me that 90% of the female video game characters don't care for clothes (Nariko, put some armor on! .... No father, I can't, I'm a female video game character....Oh, yeah, ma bad)

Gloria...umm....well, it's not really her fault the camera cought her cheese burger like that, is it? 

 Trish should post here and let me know were she got those leater pants. That embroidment is just too cool!

I don't think there was anywhere near as much cleavage in DMC3.  Here is a screenshot:

 

If you can find me a shot of Lady in DMC3 with anywhere near as much cleavage as in DMC4, then I'd see where you're coming from.  But as far as I can remember from the game, you barely see any at all.  In DMC4, they really are just about hanging out.

trish from 1 had some rather large cleavage too not to mention se seemed to have forgotten to put a bra on. but yeah lady's new wild side seems to have gotten the better of her in 4. and is it just me or did trish get fat?

@Chrysander: yeah, you're right about that screenshot. I actually didn't pay that much attention to Lady in game, I just remembered her from the high rez CGs. The ingame graphics differ from those. Look here: Lady wallpaper

She still has barely any cleavage in that shot.  Have a look through as many screenshots as you like, or even take a screenshot from the game when you are playing.  I really don't think you'll find anything like how she looks in DMC4.  I'm not saying that she wasn't meant to be at all sexy in DMC3, she was dressed up in psuedo school girl clothes, and she is pretty.  But for DMC4 they have really ramped that up, and from what we've seen so far she looks a lot more flirtatious and friendly, and she just looks like a big tramp to me.  The shades don't suit her either imo, especially when she's indoors, it just makes her look like some trendy bimbo.
