Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Victor watched the demonstration attentively, adjusting his armour slightly and raising his right hand. Turning it so the palm was facing away from him, he pulled back the sleeve of his tunic and studied the tattoo, which glowed a faint green. "Well now... I can think of a number of scumbags who'd want me dead..." Replacing his sleeve and stretching a little, Victor closed his eyes contemplatively, a faint smile passing his lips. He couldn't wait for his first match.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Jinn sighed. and walked to his own room, remooveing Items out of his bag, a large rectangular wooden box, that he leaned on a wall, and a bottle of some kind of liquid, raseing the bottle, he kissed it and set it on the bench. "Victery drink" he smirked, and tossed the bag to the aposeing wall. and lept onto his bed. "aaaahh... well this is alot better than mine, atleast this Devil knows how to treat his guests.".

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
"I don't need to plan anything for the moment. Let's just see the tournament has in store for me." Alan muttered to himself before he drank the last of his mead and reached into his coat pocket, retrieving a few silver coins and placing them on the counter beside the mead glass as a tip for the bartender. He stretched a bit before departing from the tavern and re-entering the bustling market district of the coliseum. "Well, I have some time before my next match. Might as make the most of it." thought Alan as he walked about the crowded area, perusing the various shops that each sold unique items. Just as he neared an alchemy store, he heard someone shouting behind him. "Over here! Mr. Belmont!" it said. Alan turned and saw a large, multi-purpose store to his left. At the counter was a middle-aged bearded man who wore what appeared to be merchant robes. Despite his aged look, the merchant had an infectiously cheerful atmosphere about him and a noticeable friendliness in his sage-green eyes. A sudden realization came to Alan's mind: "That man closely resembles those merchants I keep finding in my previous missions. He must be their ancestor." thought Alan as he approached "Good to see you again, Trevor. I never thought our paths would cross again so soon after you and your friends defeated Dracula." said the merchant. Alan nearly spoke to correct the merchant but decided against it. "I can't afford to risk the timeline. I'll just have to act like Trevor Belmont until I return to my time period." thought Alan. "You look a little tired. Would you like to purchase some of my new rejuvenation potions? They just came in and I'll sell them at a discount for you since you're one of my best customers. While you're here, why don't you take a look at my other wares? I just received a new stock of high quality items that might be of use to you." said the merchant. "Sure, it's..uhhhh....good to see you too. I'll take a look and see if there's anything else I'd like to buy before I buy those rejuvenation potions." said Alan. He felt awkward trying to act as his ancestor Trevor. Alan was, after all, a very good-natured and honest man. It was very uncomfortable and difficult for him to impersonate someone else, even if it was his own ancestor. The Belmont strode through the shop's numerous aisles, examining racks of armor, shelves of weapons, cabinets of clothing, and various other items that were on sale. "Hmmmm, interesting....Some of these items might come in handy in the later tournament rounds...." noted Alan as he ambled on down the aisles, searching for anything that might be useful.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
The next morning, Victor awoke to the sound of several trumpets and the name "Trevor Belmont", and the boy sat bolt upright, realising Alan was fighting in the first match. Throwing himself out of bed, Vic cracked his neck and knuckles, performed a few brief stretches, then turned his attention to the barred window in his room. He had a good view of the arena, and the duel that was to come. The Shadow Warper could hardly wait. The prospect of seeing a Belmont fight for the first time was filling Victor with excitement and anticipation. He knew he'd be cheering as loudly as the crowd in the arena when Alan finally made his entrance.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
It wasn't long before Alan's window-browsing came to an abrupt end. The Belmont toyed around with one of the store's potions before his hunter reflexes suddenly kicked in. The familiar, uniform thud thud of the ground behind him instantly gave away the footsteps of an approaching coliseum guard. With a sigh, Alan placed the store potion back onto its original shelf. "So, am I expected in the arena?" he asked without even turning. Alan immediately heard a sudden shuffling of leather on chain mail, as though the guard behind him jumped in surprise. "I had heard legends about the...unnatural vigilance of a Belmont, but I'd never expect you to be so alert, Mr. Belmont." the guard replied. "Well, it runs in the family. After all, one must be prepared and ever vigilant when hunting the Night. Now, would you happen to know who my opponent is?" asked Alan with a slight grin on his face, finally turning around to face the guard. "It's quite fitting, really. You, the Hunter of the Night, shall face the Master of Shadowy Death, Hanzo Hattori." said the guard. Like a spark, the guard's words ignited an explosion of thoughts and emotions within the Belmont hunter. "Ah, the Legendary Hanzo. I've read so many of his stories when I was little. To think that I'd actually meet the mighty assassin in single combat...'tis like a childhood dream come true." thought Alan, feeling the ever nostalgic fighting spirit rise within him at the mere mention of Hanzo's name. Despite this, Alan couldn't ignore a small nagging thought in the back of his mind. "But he's an important historical figure. If something drastic were to happen to him...." the thought nagged. "No, Saint Germain ensured that I would be able to act freely in this time period. I have faith that he will keep it that way. Besides, there is no need for arbitrary bloodshed. I shall only fight to disable, like always." Alan thought, shaking his head. The guard's voice suddenly snapped him out of his reverie. "Now, if you're prepared, I shall lead you to the arena." the guard said. "Ah...yes, please do." the Belmont hastily replied before he followed the guard out of the store. Upon the first step outside the store, Alan was greeted by a deafening cheer from every person in the surrounding market district. "You've drawn quite a crowd, Mr. Belmont. Many have come far and wide just to bear witness to this one, epic match." the guard said as he and Alan steadily made their way to the expectant arena gates. It wasn't long before they stood before the grand coliseum portcullis. The sentries by the massive entrance shouted at some unseen gate operator and, right on queue, the metal grating groaned and whined as it slowly opened up, giving way to the Belmont warrior. "This may be a bit cliché but...good luck. And give us a battle to remember for the ages!" praised the guard. "Do not worry. Hanzo and I shall not disappoint you." Alan replied. And with a courageous, elated grin on his face, the Belmont strode out, into the arena to be greeted by humongous cheer that shook the very earth beneath his feet.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Hanzo's eyes cracked open, and he stood up, takeing the Sickle and chain in his right hand. and proceeded onward towords the Belmont. Emma awaited them to aproach and when they did she shot both of them a glance. "Good morning contestants... get ready and signal to us when you are ready to fight please stand atleast five steps from one another., once the trumpets sound the fight will begin. good luck" she turned and walked away. Hanzo's eyes were fixated on the Belmont. "Trever Belmont..." he started his voice was cold and emotionless. and could quite posibly bring a normal man to dispair if they had heard it. "I look falward to seeing your abilitys. I rather enjoy fighting you head on like this, it provocs the ilusian that you might win." he then slowly turned and was situated quite some distance fromm the Belmont. about thirty steps away. he then whirled his left hand over his head, signaling he was ready. Allan had the choice of mooveing clouser. farther, or remaining his positian.

"Oh, look, a match." Amaya said, looking out her window that overlooked the arena. "that's one plus to being a contestant, I get to watch the match without leaving my room."

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Cold, calculated, and murderous. Hanzo was everything the legends had described, and more. Alan's heart pounded with excitement and adrenaline began to surge throughout his body. Despite this, the Belmont maintained a calm composure and smiled confidently at the Assassin that stood no more than 30 paces away. "I look forward to witnessing your combat prowess as well, Mr. Hanzo. It is an honor to meet you, especially on the battlefield. But I must warn you, I am not an opponent to be trifled with." Alan proclaimed with a loud voice that commanded authority and power. "Hanzo will surely be a quick, agile opponent. I must find a way to limit his mobility." Alan thought, devising multiple strategies in his mind. He drew a long knife with his left hand and unfurled the Vampire Killer with his right, allowing the whip's tip to hit the ground with a menacing crack. Steadily flowing his holy power into his weapons, the Belmont entered a slightly crouched stance. "I am ready."

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
the Trumpets sounded and with that a trail of dust led twords the Bellmont. yet Hanzo was no where to be seen. and it was the slight Jingle of chain that gave away his location of being ten feet above Allen, as he decended ontop of him, the Sickles infront of him as Hanzo decended. Here I come, Trever.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
Alien rushed to the window, the first fight had begun. "Good luck, Alen... i know you can do this..."Alien thought - it almost decided to make its way to the arena but didnt want to miss the fight. It wanted to make sure that Alan was ok and in its mind the only way to do so was to not miss a thing. Alien could sence the power of the Belmont when they had shook hands and knew that this would be a fight to remember.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
[Sorry for being late, got tied up during Thanksgiving Break] "As expected of the cunning, quick-footed Hanzo. If your opponent wasn't a Belmont like me, you would have already won the match..." thought Alan. He was barely able to track the swift Assassin with his eyes, but Alan knew he didn't have to rely on his eyes to keep track of Hanzo. Years of vampire hunting and training had honed his senses to an extraordinary degree, making him familiar with the telltale whoosh of air that accompanied the nimble, stealthy movements of agile individuals like vampires and assassins. Alan smiled confidently and pointed his dagger at the ground below him, muttering "Astral Trap" and releasing the pent up magic he stored in the dagger. A blue circle of light suddenly sputtered into life below the Belmont before he leaped back a few yards, keeping his stance and weapons ready. Right when Alan cleared the blue circle's light, a violent stream of Astral Knives suddenly spewed forth from the circle's mouth, straight up at Hanzo. At the same time, Alan held out his dagger hand and released more of his holy magic into the small blade. Bright blue "portals" materialized around the Belmont's body and shot out a swarm of more Astral Knives, surrounding him with the small blades of magic. Alan made a slight upward gesture with his dagger hand, testing his control over the magical knives. Sure enough, the knives answered his command and floated a few inches upward. "All right, Hanzo. Let's see what you're capable of." thought Alan as he fixed his gaze on the still airborne assassin.

Re: Devil hand-Wrath of fire
( No problem I exspected such a hold back =p)
Hanzo was caught off guard as to the Belmonts abiility's in combat. throwing the chain out a bit . he began spinning it as a shield from the daggers. a Temporary use untill he came up with his escape plan. wich took only a moment. his eyes never showing any emotion.
the knifes began whistleing threw the air rather then being deflected. as a shadow apeered above and behind Alan, and Hanzo soon phased into the shadows location, hurling one ond of the Sickle and chain downward in an attack. Clever...
